Why does it always have to be just one or the other?....I believe in a happy medium and have had much success with it. I am about to compete in a bodybuilding show (masters figure division), so I feel that I may be able to back up what I am saying.

I am happy to have entertained you today. You're welcome, lol.
-
We get it, you like using the same fancy words over and over again. You can stop now. Edited to state I quoted the wrong post - this is directed at BasicGreatGuy

Rudeness does happen every day, yes you are correct. I didn't say it DIDN'T happen, just that it was unlikely that things unfolded the way it was stated. That is just my opinion though, which I am free to express in this public forum.
-
I just can't believe someone would officially file a complaint about that. Just my opinion...maybe I am just heartless though...
-
No, they don't require either or both to be believable....but the combination of those along with the unbelievable story is what fuelled me to speculate things did not happen as OP suggests.
-
You put in a complaint about that???
-
Were you curling in the squat rack perhaps?
-
I agree, I am very skeptical that this actually happened the way it was described, or at all. Also, the OP's profile is sketchy itself...no gender, no pic...
-
Yes, you are expecting tooooo much (1-2 lbs per week is great). Why can't you exercise...just curious.
-
That is a very specific list, so it won't be impossible to work around. Calories in and calories out is all that matters. I am also a working mother of 2 with a full time job (40 hours week) and am about to add a part time job (10-15 hrs per week) to that as well and still find time to go to the gym 4-6 times a week and…

I agree with this.....AND it's only been a month! Take a deep breath and keep going. Seriously.
-
Curiosity is killing me....PLEASE tell us what your "compliment" was to her at the very least!!
-
I completely agree. Also, the fact that the OP doesn't give any detail on what exactly was said by either party raises some red flags for me. I know she states it is because that isn't the point of the thread...but it is in the original post so it is fair game for discussion as it was used as an example (albeit a VERY…

Was religion part of this conversation? Just curious....

9lbs in a month is NOT all muscle, sorry to tell you (but you seem to have already known that yourself). The only possibility is diet. I have no comments on crossfit as I do not know much about it (and what I do know may be negatively biased information that I received). I wish you the best though, you can do this!
-
Then my question is, why did it bother you so much that you felt the need to create a thread about it?
-
As long as you are doing it for YOU and not for revenge (which would be childish). I wish you the best.
-
*excess - sorry, had to "for myself" doesn't go with "revenge"...how old are you?
-
That is a pretty general question...I think each person who is "mean" became that way due to their own personal environment/life experiences/etc...also, your perception of "mean" may be different than someone else's.

You tried to drink olive oil? Omg, I almost gagged
-
Then look for a scale on Amazon.ca.....or go to Canadian Tire, or Walmart, etc. Also, as you have been replying it seems that your main complaint is simply how to avoid the feeling of fullness.....is that all this is about? I really don't see how it is possible, or why feeling full is such a problem for you. I am confused.
-
Ummm, is this a serious post or are you trolling? You obviously gained weight somehow in the past if you have lost 33lbs and still apparently have another 5lbs to lose....
-
I agree that there is nothing wrong with it, unless it is affecting your sleep. If you really wanted to/preferred to work out in the morning then yes, it will take some getting used to. No you will not spring out of bed eagerly ready to exercise every day....but you just do what you need to do.
-
I agree with this wholeheartedly. Stop the FADS!!!!!!!!! ffs....
-
1. Do you use your food diary? If so, do you use it properly? 2. You seem to be breaking foods down into "good" and "bad"....when all that matters at the end of the day is calories. Set a calorie goal and don't exceed it most of the time. 3. Get some exercise. 3. Don't make excuses about why it's hard for you....it's hard…
-
Yes you do!! Btw, I am a 37 year old mother of 6 & 7 year old girls. Having kids is no excuse. Also, I am a medical secretary and sit on my butt allllll day long...so can't blame job either. If you want it badly enough you make it happen no matter what.

I completely agree with rabbitjb....it isn't so much about motivation as it is about committment. The motivation comes later as you see progress. I saw a comment the other day that described it perfectly...it said something like "not many people have motivation to go to work on Monday morning, but they still show up"...use…

Misinformation about nutrition is not something I consider "harmless".
