  • Thanks! I will have to look for it. It sounds interesting!
  • I haven't tried the cheddar and sour cream. I have a hard time finding that flavor here, though I have seen it online. I tried bbq and regular. They tasted too acidic/bitter to me. I will take your advice and try one of the cheddar and sour cream if I find them
  • I like the bars as a quick convenient snack, but not every day, but I really despised the flavor of the chips!
  • Found these and love them! I didn't want the higher calories of the new Chobani, so I was glad to find this Dannon L&F. So delish!
  • When I weigh myself at home, it's first thing in the morning, no clothes. At the Dr's office, it will be with clothes on (God forbid otherwise), generally after breakfast, water, etc. That will easily add to about 4 lbs for me :) The scales now at the Dr's office around digital large platform scales, at least for mine, I…
  • I just found is type of kale. I don't know if it's the type or the brand, but the flavor is milder from other kale I have bought before and I like it a lot more! I use in scrambled eggs and turkey breast chili. I like this flavor so much that I am going to eat this in salads too, which I normally don't like!
  • It also might depend on your muscle mass. Muscles take up more weight and less volume, so you may weigh more but a smaller size as you firm muscle.
  • What is chocolate tea?
  • Sounds like you need the extra calories if you have to keep up with school kids and especially as a jazzercize instructor. I know that I also couldn't dramatically reduce my calories or I would be starving, so I would reduce little by little. Maybe try at 1600 and then reduce by 100 the next week and see how you feel and…
  • I crave chocolate and sweets. My go to sweet snacks are red seedless grapes. If I crave salt, I have half a serving of almond nut thins crackers (hint of sea salt) with light laughing cow Swiss cheese. I try to stay within my calories anyway. If I am really craving sweet, I will eat an Enlightened Salted Caramel Ice Cream…
  • I am 5' 8.5" (some Dr's report at 5' 9"). I started at my highest at 265lbs. I am now 193lbs. My goal is 140lbs, though I wouldn't mind being 140 at the Dr's office during the day, so 135 in the morning at home would be amazing for that!
  • I guess it depends on your activity level outside of the workouts and muscle mass and BMR. I am 5' 8.5" with a high weight of 265lbs, when I started using MFP and a vivo fit last May. I have been at goal calories of 1000-1200 depending on activity level (I have been sedentary, though now intentionally walking 10500 steps a…
  • Although not technically new, it's a great seasonal item I look forward to and now they are here. The Thomas Cranberry English Muffins. http://www.thestuntzombie.com/2014/11/thomas-cranberry-english-muffins.html?m=1 I am normally not a cranberry fan, but these are delicious. I also spread a wedge of light laughing cow…
  • Happy New Year to you too! I joined the challenge to lose 20 lbs by Easter. It's my first MFP challenge! I have lost 72 lbs since May 1, 2015, when I was at my highest. Still 53 to go!
  • I just went on a trip for Christmas. I had a 46lbs suitcase, a 22lbs backpack and a 4lbs purse (maybe more). That was 72 lbs total... That is the same weight that I had lost at that time! I couldn't carry it all at once very long! I was so thankful the suitcase had wheels! How could I carry it in my skin!?!?!? During the…

Wow! I love it! It may be old news to some of you, but it is…
  • I live in upstate NY and I got it at Wegmans. It is a new product here, so maybe it will start spreading to other grocery stores. Maybe search online to see what other grocery stores would carry in your area?
  • I love pecans in maple brown sugar oatmeal! And I have found trivia brown sugar, which is stevia with molasses, so less calories!
  • Weight is only one of many ways to track progress. Use all the tools available to you to track progress! In the MFP web configuration, add as many measurements as you can, more than the defaults, and measure yourself weekly. Even if you don't think you look different, the tape measure won't lie. It will also show you where…
  • I weigh myself daily, some days it stays the same, some it goes up and most it goes down. The way I see it is that my total weight loss keeps getting larger, so progress is measurable, but weight is just part of it. I set small goals, so the total is less intimidating. I also measure myself and compare how much more I can…
  • Hi! I will first say that you are doing great in the success you have had! I am 42, 5' 8.5" woman and my starting weight was 265 at the end of April. I started my journey to health on May 1, and I have lost 70 lbs in 7.5 months. I still have 55 to go. Key things I would like to encourage you with: 1. Break down the…
  • I was starting to notice that I would hit the wall when working out some days or feel like I needed a rest, so I increased my calories a little bit and I feel a lot better, and even started losing weight from my plateau... Maybe your body is telling you it needs a bit more fuel.
  • I love this humus with a great cilantro, lime and avocado flavor! It also counts for the avocado MFP challenge! Only 25 cals per tbsp! I love it with these:
  • I walk quite a bit (steps adding to 5 miles a day) and work out on an elliptical. I am puzzled by how much thinner my thighs are! They are thinner than what they were when I was at this weight when my weight was going in the opposite direction (up rather than down as now). I just tried out an old pair of shorts that used…
  • Yes, yes and yes! I keep buying track pants and monitoring the prices. I even bought e next size down as "goal pants"! I love getting impressed at being able to do more than I previously could and adding new exercises as they get easier! I have a bin of larger clothes and I will go through a whole clothes trying-out…
  • That is so true! I have now lost 70 lbs and that is a full, max weighted, airline suitcase plus a carry on suitcase! I now get overwhelmed at the thought of carrying that!
  • I go to the chiropractor frequently now because of pain in my tail bone, knee and heel. He tells me that as I have been losing weight, the body needs to adjust to the new shape and the muscles need to be developed to pull the frame into the right position. I have been strengthening the muscles and I am hopeful that it will…
  • I have had to go to the chiropractor a lot and I am emphasizing abdominal exercises to strengthen my core and help my back from its pain, though it isn't because of breast weight, but rather hip and heel pain as a result of my back not having enough support.
  • That happened to me with lasagna and pizza... They used to be my favorites and last time I had them, they didn't sit well with me... Lots of stomach pain... Now, the thought of them, just gives me a stomach ache!
  • I am excited that my bras don't "strangle" me and cut into me... I fit back into them again!
