  • Strength first. Use up your bodys glucose to fuel those lifts, get more gains. Then when your body has used the glucose go into fat burning mode with the cardio. Otherwise, youre using glucose to fuel cardio, id rather use fat, and fat to fuel lifts which is inefficient. Im not a biochemistry major but it makes sense.

  • This is what I do: stretch/warmup 20 min. Strength/skills 15~1 hour. Hour long is typically a weight training session and I try to have a rest before the xbox. 15 min is like practice on cleans, snatches etc. Long Wods 45 min + I skip strength or anything else because 45+ of xfit is plenty.   • Nope. Im usually too tired and exhausted after 5 good hard days. By that time I hurt everywhere, and need the recuperation. I also catch a flick or something with the significant other and the next day feel like a new person.
  • This good. You could also simply "lunge" up a small box/cardio platform while keeping your weight on the midfoot or heel portion of the foot. A glute exercise machine can also work although I find these less effective.
