  • It is probably water weight. Unless you are on the Biggest Loser scale, you are not losing 3lbs of muscle or fat in 3 days.
  • That is quite the weight loss, congrats. You gained 15kg back during your slump and I'm sure you can get it off again. 10% body fat is not easy to get though. If you have access to a hydrostatic dunk tank, I would recommend doing that now to see your current BF% and then make a plan. Keep pushing forward and working…
  • Some of those programs are very rigorous. With a husband and 4 kids, you will be lucky to get through the RN program without a divorce let alone not gaining more weight. I would just focus on school and your family and try to eat as healthy as possible.
  • Good luck. I still have a few years and hope to be fit in my 40s as well.
  • At 190lbs and 1870 daily it seems like your weight should be coming off. Are you sure about your calories? Are you eating back your calories burned? Tracking can be difficult at first. Guessing/estimating doesn't work well. Weighing the food works best. Did you find out your maintenance first? When you first start working…
  • Just keep exercising and tracking your eating. If you lose 1lb/wk, in 16 weeks you will be halfway to your goal. That is the length of a college semester. So just act like you need to get through a difficult class. After the 16 weeks, you will feel great and look much different and this will keep you going. It also helps…
  • Why do people try to eat so little? Try taking the other route...exercise & burn more.
  • I think they have apps on the ipad that cost money for each route. I looked it up once as well for indoor cycling. For my treadmill runs, I put a marathon race on the ipad since they are easy to find. They aren't first person though.
  • Is somebody actually going to be an a** and post a "no"?
  • It depends on where you are at in the process. If you still have high body fat then I wouldn't eat them back. But if you are trying to get rid of the last bit then you should only be losing 1lb per week and should eat it back if you are already losing that much.
  • Well some of us are. As long as you are feeling well then that is fine. My resting HR is normally in the 50s but gets as low as 45 at times. It takes a few minutes on my warm up walk to get it over 100.
  • Well, I am eating 2500 calories a day and losing a pound a week. I can't do the low calorie diets any longer. It makes me mean. My maintenance is just under 3000 calories to stay at 188lbs. I eat about 350g of carbs, 160g protein and the rest from fat. Lots of chicken breast and rice with some green beans & green chili. My…
  • I'm not sure what T25 is but congrats on working out.
  • Everybody eats breakfast though. It doesn't matter what time of day it is. The first meal of the day is breakfast.

  • I ate low carbs yesterday, only 295g.
  • Just keep tracking. If you are new to it, you will need to take a couple of weeks to find your maintenance. Once you find that, you can start to do a caloric deficit. Also, using a scale will be most accurate for measuring.
  • I kicked a 1-2 energy drink a day habit the end of May. I just stopped by drinking lots of water, at least 2L daily and ate every 3hrs. When I was drinking the energy drinks, if I didn't have one by 2pm I would feel drained and would start to get a migraine. Now I might drink a cup of coffee once or twice a week when I…
  • I hate feeling hungry. I eat breakfast and 4 other meals, each containing about 500calories, throughout the day.

  • 1/2 cup black beans 1/4 cup oats 30g protein concentrate 1 tablespoon of almond butter 1 banana 1 tablespoon of natural cocoa powder 1 cup water with 3 cubes Calories-510 Carbs-72 Protein-38 Fat-13 Fiber-16
  • 80g of protein a day isn't a ton. I'm not sure about the 30/30/30, where is the other 10%? I do a 45/25/30 on a 2500 calorie diet to lose 1lb/wk. Yes, you will burn about 500 calories a day while breastfeeding. So add that to your BMR and don't go below that total.
  • I used to be able to get down to 1600 daily but now I feel awful if I go lower than 2500. If you like to eat then just make sure you workout to burn off the calories.
  • I am only losing 1lb per week. I can't go any lower than the 2500 calories or I become a bit moody.
  • I have only eaten fast food twice this year. It does not appeal to me and I only ate it out of desperation. The cravings for s**t food is gone as long as I eat every 3hrs. If I wait too long though, I tend not to care about my diet.
