Lifting and tennis. I enjoy running but arthritis in my back dictates how much or if I can do it.

I would see my doctor if I were you. This could implicate a medical issue with some lady parts. I never had cramps but did have bleeding while exercising several years ago. Had to have surgery to remove polyps. Anything out of the ordinary (which cramps while lifting is) should be investigated by a physician.

To help you feel full make sure to consume foods high in protein and good fats. Carbs are fine but complex (i.e. sprouted grain bread, whole wheat, etc) is more filling for longer than simple carbs (i.e. white bread, donuts, etc).

@JenHuedy wow! Fabulous!!

You'd have to pry my coffee out of my cold dead hands! I drink two cups a day and I've lost 85 lbs

Fabulous work!

I find this as well. Lifting does so much for us. Better body composition, usually less loose skin after a large weight loss, and on top of that, we go into our "older years" much healthier. It's been proven over and over that building and keeping lean muscle means way less health issues as we age.

My friend, you are a true inspiration. So happy to be on this journey with you!! What a fabulous transformation. You've put in the work, and deserve to reap every reward and compliment! Kudos!!

Haha! Word of caution - as I'm currently hurting from my credit card bill - be choosy in your new clothing! I'm also in a size 12 and with all the selection I've gone a little bonkers with shopping. Need to step in down LOL. Love your enthusiasm! Fitting nicely into size 12s after years in plus sizes - is there any better…

Congratulations!! "Normal" or "healthy" BMI is what I'm aiming for too at the moment. I started at a BMI of 41.6 and am currently at 27.2, so getting very close! I can understand how happy you are, and you deserve that happiness 100%!! Great job!

Awesome!!! What a beautiful bride

I don't know why it is, but I'm like that too. My DH has potato chips in the house all the time, and I'm never tempted. Yet bring in a chocolate cake, and I'll eat it until I feel sick. I cannot have it in the house. I wish I could just have a bit. But for now, I just go out to a restaurant for chocolate cake if I really…

@mom23mangos first, that's a great way to use a bonus! Second, what a fabulous difference in a short period of time! Inspiring to say the least

Readjust your thinking. You're doing very well. It's important to keep your goals and expected progress realistic. There will be times you don't lose anything for a week or two, and you need to be ready for that. Weight loss isn't linear and you shouldn't be aiming for more than two pounds a week loss. When you get closer…

Absolutely OP! I've lost 85 lbs doing just that. I eat carbs, fat and protein and do a moderate amount of exercise. Consistency and calorie deficit is what will bring weight loss success.

You definitely look smaller overall. Keep up the good work!!

Great attitude and stellar determination! Go you!!!!

Wow, great job!

I would actually love to workout every day but I have arthritis in my back as well as degenerative disc disease so I've learned that every other day is my limit. If I stick with that I'm relatively pain free. Exercising daily causes me to have way too much pain.

I'm 47 yrs old and been hypo for over a decade; I take Synthroid. I've lost 84 lbs since Sept 1/15 using MFP for calorie counting and a moderate amount of exercise.

That's awesome!! ... I would have eaten it

Awesome work OP!

Fabulous!!

To reach my initial goal weight of 140 lbs. Currently 155.8; SW 240 lbs. Feels close and yet quite far considering how much the losses slow when you get to this point!

You're gonna do it!!!!

* That all the pants hangers you had your size 24 pants hanging on are not actually too small when you hang your size 12 pants on them; * That you actually WILL feel colder; I didn't believe it until it started happening to me; * That people will feel so inspired by your weight loss and increased fitness that they will…
