Running helps to sort out my head too. It's the me time that lets me reflect and prioritise what's important from what's really not!

I use a Flip belt. It fits everything in and I don't notice it at all whilst I'm running

I drink a shake for breakfast. Almond milk, meal replacement, protein powder and fibre mixed together. Keeps me full from 7am until 12. Everyone's individual though, you need to find what works for you. Preparation is the key to success!

Hi I trained for my first half last year and eat a low carb diet. Except on the day before my long runs (Saturday for me) lost a stone and increased my speed from 10 min mile to 8.40 min mile, BUT this suits me, you need to listen to your body and find what suits you. Good luck!

3 runs 3 strength training with 1 day active rest usually walking or swimming

Kettle bells for me, as a strength training addition :)

3/4 runs a week. 3 miles in the am in the week and anything up to 13 on a Sunday, depending where I am in half marathon training. Avg 8.30 to 9 min mile
