I love the aria scale. It really simplifies everything. Synacious really said it all.

Motivation with any of the schizo-disorders is difficult. I'm schizophrenic. I often don't have motivation at all but I do have alarms on my phone to tell me to do things. I have a schedule to do things. I have a large dry erase board on the fridge that has the calendar of all things including all doctor's appointments,…

Hi. You can call me Mr.TB, even though I'm female. It's the nickname of my cat. I was dx'd w/T2 in 2009 at age 35. I was at the upper end of normal BMI. lol. I lost 30 lbs and it didn't help. So they put me on metformin. I gained weight. Had a heart attack in 2013, I was 38. I have 2 stents. I weighed 163 at the time.…

Thanks for the replies. I will look into the groups. Thanks again.

Mine's open but I eat a lot of junk.

I'm personally a fan of aspartame. Then sucralose, then Sweet n'Low, then sugar alcohols, sugar, and nothing at all. I really don't like stevia/truvia. I'm diabetic btw. Sugar alcohols will raise my BG but not as much as real sugar.

Mine is open but I'm a horrible eater. :D

I don't know if it would work for you but this worked for me. When I get a craving for cookies (my weakness) I've found that eating 3-4 grams of assorted nuts or cashews does it for me. I find it filling and satisfies my sugar craving most of the time. Again, I don't know if that would work well for you, but it works for…

I up my calories during my pms week. It hasn't caused me any back tracking.

5'6" and 41. Current measurements are: 38-29-39 weight : 160 Starting measurements were: 38-38-42 weight: 194 FWIW, I used to be 5'7.5" tall. Scoliosis is a b*tch.

I'm a believer in HAES. It doesn't work for me, but hey, few things do. :D I don't care what size people are as long as they are happy with themselves. More power to them. I'm doing what I feel is best for me. As long as they are doing the same, so be it.

I think that taking time to take care of yourself is a great thing to do for your kids. They will appreciate it so much when they are old enough to do so.

Take your meds on an empty stomach about 30-60 mins before eating or drinking anything but water. It may take 6 weeks to feel any effect from your meds. You may need to have your dose adjusted multiple times before they find the right dose.

I've logged calories ever since I can remember. I had spirals and spirals of notebooks filled with entries. Restriction was always my diet of choice. Although I can remember trying Slimfast back in the 80's when Oprah made a big deal about it. Wow, that was nasty. The first time I had BK was after I got a job and could buy…

I try to reach my goal as close as possible. If I go over a bit it doesn't phase me because I know that overall I'll still be in a deficit.

I take a low dose of neurontin for pain. I've not noticed any weight gain, if anything it's helped me to move more.

I'm always a sl*t for taco bell! I'm not much for any other fast food joint, but I hate to cook. So since the husband and kiddo are on the health kick now it's all kitchen time for me. :(

With my first pregnancy it went back in about 6 months. The second pregnancy was four years later, but I worked the entire time on my feet even through labor. It went back in about six weeks. I was 18 the first time and 22 the second time. So maybe it was a combination of age and genetics? I had a very physically intensive…

I was dx'd with Hashimoto's when I was 20. I probably had it for much longer than that. I take 200 mcg of levothyroxine. It takes about six weeks for a dose change to take full effect. My TSH has been as high as 187. I suggest getting a full panel and seeing an endocrinologist. I also recommend taking your medicine on an…

I have the Flex. My son has the HR. My husband has the Surge. We love them.

When I had my heart attack (at 38) they put me through cardio rehab. You may want to check it out through your hospital. They monitor you at the hospital. I had two heart stents, so maybe that's why, along with a host of other health problems. You may want to see if they have something similar available.

I know how bad agoraphobia can be, I've suffered with it too. I spent a major part of 10 years inside. Not having motivation sucks. For me, what helped most was finding some music that I liked and just dancing my *kitten* off while knowing that no one could see/watch was the most helpful for me. I had a hard time following…

All over. The strangest thing is losing weight in my feet though. At my thinnest, I wear a size 6 in shoes.

I think that some of it may just be down to genetics too. My weight has bounced around due to to everything from pregnancy, to health, to surgery, meds, you name it. I've yet to get the saggy skin syndrome. *knocks wood*

Celexa was always weight neutral for me. On or off. I take 40 mg currently. I take it for both anxiety and depression. I've taken it on and off over a period of about seven years. I used to only take 20 mg but for the past two years it's been at 40 mg.
