I don't have my fitbit sinc'd to MFP but I do use it to track solely my exercise burn - I will eat back some of my exercise burnt calories. HRs are only a guide - if you are feeling hungry - truly hungry - you might not be fueling correctly and/or eating enough to satiate the hunger.

Avoid the extra helping to accommodate hitting calories during the week and add them to the weekend - as long as you are at a 3,500 (1 lbs) deficit at the 7 day mark, you should still be seeing healthy loss. Do however listen to your body and pay attention to your energy levels - low energy levels mean too little fuel ;)

Check out some www.Bodybuilding.com -- nope not saying that in 6 weeks you will be muscular and have a 10% body fat but they do serve as a guide on how some of the best of the profession do it... https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/kris-gethin-12-week-daily-trainer.html My opinion is that you are putting way too much workout…

I choose not to have the adjustment from my fitbit - personally I find it to be a false sense of calories burnt. For me, I only count calories burnt during actual exercise activity - when the heart rate increases ... I don't even have my fitbit connected. Also, I don't use it while lifting weights - it is inaccurate -…

If you are not being successful and not being able to keep yourself motivated is because you might not have clear goals and the reasons might not be substantial enough to adhere to. Though there are plenty out there who can say ok this is it, I am going to change fully my diet and exercise 6 days a week and be good and are…

Keep motivated!!! You got this, you are def. at the right place to get it accomplished.

Nope it doesn't make you lose weight, it makes you lose inches... depending on the exercise of course ;)

It is as simple as that - the most important difference is the macros and micros (nutrition factors of your food). Baby steps though... don't deprive yourself from the foods you love, simply learn serving sizes before you know it you will be selecting more nutritional dense foods, cuz usually more nutritional dense, less…

Oh darling, you do not need to deprive yourself in that manner... I am a huge TDEE believer http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ visit the page, enter the info and your goals and look at how much you should be eating -- you should never feel hungry no matter what. Food is fuel and if you are feeling hungry then…

What other exercises have you been doing? Do you do a lot of cardio as well? How much weight are you using when you do your squats, are you doing a smith or barbell with wights -- how many squats are a time?

Saritafraya, About possibly 80% if not more of body builders and weight trainers will not be within their BMI. If you have not done so as of yet, you should invest in a scale that will give you complete info ( weight, body fat, water) this will then alleviate the need of seeing the weight # change. If you are getting…

Everything and everything I ate before except I didn't eat mindlessly as I used to. Serving size wins the prize each time. It is about life change not a diet - lil by lil you will learn how to supplement for higher nutrition foods

Have a family member hide it and only use it once or twice a month...

Low carb, low sodium... more fiber more water...

Buy the packs of meats, season, separate in to individual servings and use freezer bags - you can even weigh and sharpie the weight on the bag ;) -- brown rice keeps in the fridge for up to 7 days and keeps as fresh as the first day cooked (it can be pan heated) -- frozen veggies are your friend as well... hmmm

I am going to be the "it isn't an excuse but" person here - so he went and experienced because he thought he was missing out. People usually cheat because there is something lacking in their relationship - be it excitement, be it communication, be it emotional connection -- mind you the cheating doesn't happen immediate…

Healthy eating means a balance diet - a lot of peeps do 50% carbas, 40% protein, 10% fat... others 40% carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat -- the idea is to eat a balanced meal and to try for your carbs to be fruit or complex rather than from processed and that your protein be of lean nature (thought, I choose a huge steak over…

I can wake up at 4:45 am be at the gym by 5-5:15 am workout for about 45-60 mins and be just fine however, I am famished by the time I get back home and a nice heavy breakfast is a must (that is for me of course)... it is recommended you have a snack with you if you do this - if at any point you start feeling dizzy or…

Try this - which could be very possible is the formula that your trainer is using... I can't see your diary so I can't see what is your in vs out -- a lot of people do not believe in eating any calories of exercise back so what happens is, if you have your diary set at 1400 but you are burning lets say 700 calories during…

I love this topic - the reality of this topic is - most peeeps just want to lose weight so if I am counting my calories and at the end of the night when I finish my food logging it says always_smilin_D was under her calories today - it is a matter of celebration, NO? There is a difference between seeking to be healthy and…

On leg days - you can find me on the stationary bike for about 10 mins -- on upper body days you can find me at the row machine for about 10 -- on ab/cardio days I am on the elliptical...

I love my FitBit, however, I don't have it connected to my MFP. One of the reason I love it is because it helps me try to not just sit all day at my desk - having the FitBit vibrate at some point with a yey you have taken 10k steps today and haven't just sat on you tushy most of the day is an awesome feeling... mind you I…

I would go to bodybuilding.com and find a beginners workout or start with New Rules of Lifting for Woman both really good options... Jamie Eaton (found at bodybuilding.com) also has some really good easy to follow workouts. then depending on what your actual goal is - weather it is lean athletic or curvy toned - you choose…

Nutrient dense choices tend to be pricier - however, it is very doable depending on the choices
