Here's the thing - Most of what is sexual about boobs is the breast itself, not the nipple specifically (and men, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Yet, it's fine to let the whole boob hang out and about, so long as the nip is hidden/covered. That makes NO SENSE.

Because measuring cups/spoons are inaccurate; someone somewhere posted a good video demonstrating two 1/2 cup measuring cups weighing out oatmeal. A serving size should be 40g. One of his 1/2 cups poured out 56g and the other poured out 33g. So no matter what, he wasn't getting the actual serving size regardless of which…

For things like this, I enjoy using MFP's recipe designer. You can put in how much lettuce you use, how many tomatoes, etc, and what your portion size is meant to be (Is it for just one person? Four people?). And also, Salad is not what I'm worried about (aside from dressings). As pointed out in some of the video's higher…

Eating back calories would be fine assuming that you are 100% accurate on how many calories you burned and how much you eat. Since you do not weigh your food, I am certain you are not 100% accurate in how much you are consuming. Also, it is impossible to be 100% accurate with your exercise. By assuming that you are going…

Because I've weighed things that I've measured out and the measurements are almost ALWAYS off in the wrong way. For example: Cereal. My box of cereal says that 56g should be about 2/3 a cup. I have weighed things out and 56g ends up being 1/3 or 1/2 a cup. So by using 2/3 of a cup, you are actually getting 90g instead of…

Raisins. I usually have a tiny handful (which I estimate is about 100 calories) and I usually only have one as a snack in between lunch and dinner. I almost always have an excess of 200-300 calories at the end of the day, and I haven't had any weightloss problems, so I continue to not track it.

Target and walmart have worked well. Dick's sporting goods has some nice stuff, but they are on the spendier side.

I hurt my knee a few days ago. You really have to stick to your calorie counts (as when I exercised, I always ate back some of my calories). Mine is set at 1200 and I really have to watch what I eat to make sure I don't go over those. So far I've had good success, but slower weight loss.

I have this attitude in general about people. I try to offer advice, but if they don't want it, I'm not going to waste my time trying to persuade them to listen to me. Just let him do what he thinks is right and if it doesn't work, then maybe he'll consider changing what he's doing or asking for your input.

I've always been overweight (5'6, 155-165lbs) and I've even fluctuated into higher ranges. My boyfriend and I started dating when I was 170lbs and he did nothing but compliment me even when I topped out at 186. My family is very heavy (think in the 250lbs range), and I've always been terrified of letting myself reach that…

A couple of times a week, I have about 95g of chocolate frozen yogurt (which equates to about 140-150 calories). The other day, I had two sheets of graham crackers, because I wanted them SO BAD. I still have "junk" food, but in small portions that fit in with my daily calorie goals. Eating bad food like pizza or chinese…

I haven't given much up, although portions have definitely changed. I have also substituted out ingredients, though. Like with spaghetti I swap beef for turkey. I eat more chicken and a lot more salad with light dressing. I've definitely cut out biscuits and homemade sausage gravy since it is so calorie dense. I eat fast…

It takes a lot of work and discipline to shed 70lbs! You have done an amazing job! I know that it takes a long time to lose that much weight (and a long time to get to your goal weight in general), but you have to recognize each success and praise yourself for it! I have confidence that you will reach your goals

I could decimate half a large pizza or more on my own. I miss being able to just chow down (to be honest, since I started dieting, even when I do accommodate the occasional junk food night, I can't eat more then 2 large slices before feeling stuffed).

I don't drink milk because I'm on a strict calorie limit (1200), and it doesn't do anything to fill me up; I also avoid other kinds of empty calories like tea, coffee, orange juice, etc. The only thing I drink is water.. On occasion, I will have it when I eat cereal (I don't eat cereal often, either). Otherwise I get my…

I currently go to Gold's in Colorado, and I'm loving it so far. Lots of equipment and a wide variety of people. You do have your hardcore lifters, but you also have quite a few people trying to get in shape as well as people who are moderate lifters. The gym has its busy days, but also its slow days. The best thing you can…

I've been on 1200 calories for about three or four months now. It's not as hard as you think, especially if you exercise (I know people say not to eat back your exercise calories, but I eat back some). I have a fried egg and toast for breakfast, half a ham and cheese sandwich and salad for lunch, and some sort of chicken…

Eating at a chain is best (like applebees, outback, etc), because you are very easily able to find the nutrition facts online; when you eat at a small or local place, that becomes much harder. There are a few tips to make it easier: Stick with lean protein, such as fish and chicken. Avoid breaded, crispy, and fried foods.…

First of all, Kashi has double the fiber, which is going to keep you full longer than Apple Jacks. Also, the serving sizes are not the same. Apple jacks = 100 calories / 27 G Kashi = 150 / 40 G Which, if you total the amount of calories per gram, you are getting 3.70 calories per gram for Apple Jacks and about 3.75…

In the long run, cardio is going to help give you better results, as you will burn way more calories during cardio than you will lifting weights. However, at some point I strongly suggest doing both and in rotation. I spend about 60 minutes every day doing cardio, and 20-30 minutes lifting weights in rotation (monday is…

Different strokes for different folks. I think that there are some shallow people out there, but there are also personal preferences involved, too.

I always eat a fried egg and toast (but I am able to do so at home). What I would suggest is making scrambled eggs instead (since you can reheat them pretty well). I would do two eggs with a little milk, cumin, and thyme, and then cook in with onions. That or I like quaker oats oatmeal packets. Each packet is 140 calories…

I weigh every morning and keep a regular log. For me, it is much more reinforcing (since I want to lose a lot of weight) to see the scale drop every two days or so. Weighing every day also helps me keep a close eye on my diet and what is and is not working.

A guy did an experiment where he only ate ~800 calories a day. In one trial, he ate real food with good nutrition, and he lost weight. In the second trial, he ate nothing but twinkies. He STILL lost weight, although he was hungrier and experienced the side effects of poor nutrition (such as loss of concentration,…

Except that we have found species of plants 5 miles beneath the ocean's surface, where there is no light, that exist entirely off sulfur. This flies in the face of what we're normally taught, which is that life cannot survive without sun, without oxygen, etc. The only thing is that people normally think of "aliens" as…

Like others have said, losing weight will not necessarily get rid of cellulite. You need to lift more weights, do dead lifts, lunges, squats, burpees, etc. You need to work your butt and thighs to tone them up. Losing weight does not equal toning.

I would forgo tracking calories, however I would still be mindful of what you eat (ie: do you really want cake AND ice cream? Do you really want three pieces of cake instead of one or two?) Not saying you can't indulge, but try not to binge just because it's a special day :) Just my two cents.

If I weigh myself first thing in the morning, and then after a small breakfast and tea, I note a 2-3lb increase. Then with 2-3lbs of clothes, that's easily 4-6lbs extra. Do your clothes still fit fine? Do they not? Maybe get a scale for home?

If 1200 is too difficult, shoot for something more manageable, like 1600. Weightloss will be slower, but it's better than feeling hungry and doubling your calorie intake (which 2400 will likely cause weight gain). If you have a problem with binge eating in and of itself, even when not trying to diet, you may want to seek…

I usually get triggered by a high stress day at work. What I do to help combat it is I agree to let myself have a cup of chocolate frozen yogurt during lunch. It equates to about 200 calories, but usually it's enough to keep me from going nuts and making really bad decisions when I get off work (and can say, drive to a…
