  • Thanks :) you are probably right. I had the mind set of how models are so thin and don't eat much so how come I'm not dropping? Haha. They don't look they have any muscle though so my body is probably holding on to my fat in survival mode. Im going to up my intake and see how this week turns out :) thanks for the feedback.

  • Start weight: 260 Week one: 256.8 Week two: 255.8 Week three: 253.2 Successes/set backs: Added more protein to my diet. Only thing I'm confused about is my calorie intake. Been exercising alot more and eating under calorie intake. The thing I find though is the days I splurge a bit more and eat alot of calories the next…

  • You're doing great! I read above what you have gone threw. I've lost someone too recently and moved. Stress, anziety ,depression you name it. Exercise has been saving me. Takes your mind off things for a little bit. As much as it can anyway. You can do it. All in time :)
  • That's true, thank you :)
  • Start weight: 260 Week one: 256.8 Week two: 255.8 Added more protein and cardio this week. Down in inches and body fat %. Disappointed in the only one pound weight loss though.....I know I'm probably gaining muscle but still a little disappointed.
  • Start weight: 260 Week one: 256.8 Week two: 255.8 Successes/set backs: only one pound down bah! Have done more cardio this week and added more protein to my deit. Body fat % and inches are down so hopefully gaining muscle and then weight will drop faster.
  • You're doing great and I enjoy reading your posts. Don't get discouraged if the weight doesn't change much or go up with weight training for the first bit. I go to fit body boot camp with my mom and her weight went up a pound with weight training. After checking her body/fat mass it had gone down 2.5% so she had replaced…

  • Nvm I figured it out. Just adds workout calories to the step calories
  • So how come fitbit connects my steps but not the calories burned in my workout?
  • Just bought the charge Hr. As soon as it's fully charged ill get to work figuring it out and setting up. Then I'll know a little more what you guys are talking about haha:)
  • I've been comparing for the last hr or so online. I keep coming back to the charge HR. The heart rate was the deciding factor. It's reassuring that you said it was spot on. Thanks :) plus knowing my quality of sleep will be kind of neat too. Hope all is well and everything goes good with your doctor.
  • Thanks kuroshii. Thats what I've been having trouble with. I'm normally a quick fix dieter so doing it properly with exercise and eating healthy without a diet plan or quick fix has thrown me off a bit. Hard to figure out calories I should be at and how to adjust it properly to lose. I want to just eat healthy and not a…
  • LCbaby0x will do. yyyy1313 I'm going to check out that scale thanks for mentioning. My issue right now is eating to little calories. I lost weight but the gym I go to checked body mass and was the same so they said I'm burning muscle. Would be handy to have to make adjustments in what I'm eating.
  • Ok thank you, sounds like it's a good gadget to keep you going. I was going to go fitbit but maybe I will look into the one you have first. Sounds like it might be a better choice plus I want to start swimming. I heard fitbit had heart rate accuracy issues but wasnt sure if it was just one type or all. Thank you for the…
  • Welcome:) we can do it. I'm not used to losing so slow with doing it right. Diet and exercise. I tried lemon tea diet, cabbage soup, numerous detox kits, ideal protein, 17 day deit, you name it. Usually they recommend no exercise at first because your eatting so little. So of course no exercise was the key word haha. I…
  • Hi! Are you using a fitbit? I was thinking of gettkng one. Do you find your tracker motivating?
  • Start weight: 260 Week one: 256.8 Total loss: 3.2
  • Weigh in day. Start weight:260 Todays weight:256.8 Hight: 5 '5" Success/setbacks: the things I learned this week are watch your water intake. I went from drinking basically no water to my recommended intake for my weight. Started to feel dizzy and yes this is gross but liquid poop. Water is key but be carefully. Listen to…
  • It's rewarding. Makes weight feel less in a way because you'r looking at it all in one glass.
  • Good job:)
  • Thanks. I decided the charge hr because the new alta doesn't have heart rate. Was just going to order online in small. Thanks for the heads up. Probably saved me some headache if it doesn't fit. I'll get one at the store.
  • Thanks :)
  • This is a fun way to keep track of weight loss. Mark your weight on one and your goal weight on the other. Then put the amount you want to lose in the glass with marbles or beans, anything really, one per pound. As you lose pounds transfer them over to your goal glass. Gives you a visual on your weight loss and makes you…
