Back and HIIT run. Not bad since I was really procrastinating this workout this morning. @tojo_73 I am needing some heavier weights at home too and a bench. Trying to find it cheap on kijiji

Leg day. Followed by mowing and weeding- I think I am going to invest in some sheep

Speedy recovery @Beeps2011 Yesterday was a hill HIIT run, arms, and abs. Abs are burning today. Headed out to get some leg work in.
-
It is hard. You have to get your mindset right. It's going to take time but it will happen. Good luck.

Did the Stairmaster for a low impact change today. Glutes are now tight as a fiddle string. Also worked on my back. My dad is taking me on a day trip to Banff today. Feel like a little kid again!

In the city for another 5 days :0 Took advantage of the beautiful inner city trails yesterday for a run. One thing I miss about Calgary. Today was the gym. Had issues figuring out the squat rack, but a very nice girl noticed my confusion and helped me out. I ran for 30 minutes then did legs. Happy Father's Day boys!!

Arms and abs EARLY this morning.

Legs on tired legs

Changed things up today. Drove 40 miles into town for a HIIT class. Glad I did. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
-
Shoulders- just in time for tank top season. Went a little heavier today.
-
I've been run over by it several times in the past. Dust off and climb back on- I'll lend you a hand! :)

Beautiful country! Adds some zen to your walk

Arms, the dreaded abs, and a TM HIIT run this morning. Set up my new scale. Excited until I read that if you have metal implants it may not work. So not sure how the plate in my arm, and screws in my hand and knee will affect the output. It claims that I am slightly dehydrated, have a normal BMI but my muscle mass is low…

@sdereski Sorry to hear your half didn't go great. My last one was disastrous. But, like the pain of having a baby, the memory is slowly fading and I'm sure I'll do another. Decided to stick to10Ks this summer- more enjoyable and less time consuming to train for. You have a great attitude- sounds like you still found some…

Legs last night and back this morning. Love working the hammies- they give the back of your leg nice definition.
-
@kar328- I am laughing right now because I read your first post as "I am down to 103" instead of "I am down 103". I was thinking, "and they want her down another 10- to 93?!?!" That's harsh, regardless of height! Then I re-read it and realized that's how rumours get started! Anyways, superb job on the 103. Truly an awesome…

Shoulders then a slooooow 43 minute- the time it takes to watch a The Good Wife episode on Netflix- TM run. The rest of the afternoon is a freebie- no kids or husband
-
I felt like that when I started. My runs were dreadful. It took about 4-5 weeks for my body to adapt. I am running faster and lifting heavier now than ever.
-
@dcresider- did I read that correctly? The Violent Femmes?!?! Have loved them since the 80s! Lucky girl!! Think I still have their cassettes. @modmom1- the legs aren't so bad today but they were heavy during my run. That's the thing about running though- you either feel like Paula Radcliffe or you are wondering who tied…

Arms and abs. Hate abs- so weak. 30 minute HIIT run on the mill. Best wishes @beeps2011. Hope things work out for you.

I have the same macro ratio as @megemrj. I have been eating this way since March and it has changed my life in regards to food completely, plus I am the leanest I have been my whole life. Carbs are like heroin for me- I do much better without them in my diet, other than low carb veggies. My running has even improved…

Leg day.

@klaak I have a suggestion for you but please take it as that. I don't like pushing diets on anyone as I am not a doctor or dietitian but this way of eating worked for me. I am also hypothyroid and struggled with 30 extra pounds FOREVER, even sometimes running 200 miles a month. It is- The Paleo Thyroid Solution by Elle…

Worked on my back today followed by a 30 minute run. My goal is to do those darned pull ups unassisted!!
-
That is really great @chris_2013. Fantastic that you are doing this together! Back for me today. Still have to do pull ups "assisted". Will I ever conquer them?! Finished with a 30 minute run.

@peppermintpudgy The beagles must have loved that! Dogs are a great way to get out there- I mean who gets more excited for a long walk? Wow @chris_2013 ! That's a lot of weight in a short period, especially at our age ;) Let us know if you hit 50 tomorrow. I did legs today. Threw in pendulum lunges to change things up.…

@modmom1- I was a volleyball player and alpine ski racer growing up. Interestingly, I hated having to run for conditioning. Then when I hit college, it was the cheapest thing I could do to stay in shape. I now really enjoy it. Leg day today.

Hi! I will be 50 in 4 months and have been an athlete my whole life. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of issues with food. Discovered a low carb high fat lifestyle through my doctor and am the leanest and happiest about food than I have ever been. Recently decreased my running to 3 days a week with 2 of those runs being…
