No, I wish it worked that way for me.

I would think for most people that would be sedentary. I'm 5'3", have mine set to 1lb/week, and lightly active and it is 1300.
-
I've lost 15lbs! Thank you for being my online support group guys! I have 10lbs to go. My first time in the 130s in so long I can't remember...maybe pre-kids?? So over 12 years ago!
-
That would be step one. Log every bite and every mile. Start with tightening up your log and that will help you see your progress. Weight loss can be non-linear so give it another few weeks and look at trends.
-
I make stupid choices without logging. My stomach always fights my brain and wins if I don't have a plan.
-
Your diary looks pretty good. You seem like you are at a big deficit most days. Is this just a one week fluctuation?
-
Up to 15lbs!!! I lost 2lbs this week! I'm most proud of the consistency!
-
I can't see your diary. Opening it might help. What has your overall progress looked like?
-
Obviously it isn't necessary but I would eat some of them. 800 net calories for the day is very low. We have similar burn and similar calorie allowances if you want to check out my diary and see what I'm doing.

About 1200 plus some exercise calories
-
It doesn't have to be expensive to eat more healthy. Look at other more inexpensive grocery stores. I shop a lot at Aldi. My family eats a lot of pinto beans with rice with a little sausage. We incorporate a lot of frozen veggies so they don't go bad and spoil before we can eat them. We eat a lot of zucchini because it is…

of what?
-
I eat macaroni and cheese and have lost 13lbs in 13 weeks by using MFP. You can do this, just log everything and stick with it.
-
PB2 and hard boiled eggs
-
This was amazing.
-
I would ignore your cousin's plan and eat what you want (keeping a calorie deficit in MFP of course). If this is miserable, you won't stick with it. I had Baskin Robbins cookie dough ice cream last night. I can have treats by doing this.
-
MFP is designed for you to eat these calories back. I agree that you don't have to eat all of them. But you should probably eat some of them. It is actually one of my main motivators to work out.

Training for a 10k
-
Easier and I'm shocked with how consistent it has been
-
This is not true. There is no starvation mode. You can eat high fat, stay under your calories and lose weight.
-
You should definitely eat all your base calories. MFP is designed for you to eat those and your exercise calories but there is a chance they overestimate your exercise calories so most people advise you to eat back 50-75%. You can look at my diary and see what I've been doing.
-
I'm eating plenty of carbs and I'm losing 1lb/week. I eat a calorie deficit.
-
I eat plenty of sugar and I've still been steadily losing 1lb/week
-
I'm trying to bite my tongue watching friends try them on Facebook.
-
That's a tough one to start with. I have done it before. Try to build each time you do it.
-
You don't need to kickstart anything. Just start and stick with it. If you want to drink smoothies, just log them like everything else.
-
I would find what you enjoy. I have discovered that I really enjoy listening to podcasts and walking and I really love spin classes. I also run. I don't love it but I have to run for work so I'm learning to enjoy it a little bit. I love Zumba and yoga. Your menu sounds pretty limited. Any reason for that?
-
The best way to get there at a steady rate is to follow the plan. I see a lot of incomplete entries unless you are really just eating a funnel cake and a blizzard. Pre-logging your foods may be a better way to plan for the next day and focus on filling but healthier foods.
-
I would eat about half of them back. You can look at my log and see that I use dip into some of them (MFP is designed for you to eat them) but not all of them.
-
Keep going.
