I schedule my workouts like I schedule work- I HAVE to go no matter what, so I set aside an hour to go, and started with 3x a week. Just have to move things around in your schedule but you can make it happen! :) even if u just go on a 20 min morning jog or yoga before bed

I have PCOS also! It totally sucks and makes weight management a lot tougher than the average person but it is possible to be lean. Jillian Michaels was my inspiration when I was first diagnosed, she has PCOS too. I'm a trainer as well so if you have any questions or need a support buddy, don't be shy! :)

I always eat right before bed because I have insulin resistance. I usually have: 1/2 cup cottage cheese A handful of peacans A few cherries or some tart cherry juice Or Turkey slices with avocado & 1/2 an apple. I've lost 8 pounds so far, just don't have any junk food or heavy carbs. And make sure it's a small snack! When…

It's not a stupid question. A lot of people think quantity is more important than quality. That's not true, and I can go in a lot of detail with this but I'll keep it short: Balancing out each meal with 40c/30p/30f every few hours will keep your glucose levels and everything else in your system balanced so you won't feel…

I log everyday also!

All the gains! Added :)

I've got PCOS also. When I found out Jillian Michaels has it also and she is so fit I did a ton of research. Eating clean organic whole foods & lots of exercise is the key! It's hard work but you'll notice a difference. Always love support from fellow MFP users! :)

I set my macros to 40c/30p/30f. That's 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fats. This keeps your glucose levels balanced. You can read more about it by looking up the Zone "diet". It's just a way of eating but it's the healthiest in my opinion. Good luck!!!
-
That's a great start but as soon as you stop eating zone meals you might gain the weight back. Try sticking with it or something similar when you finish your 30 day challenge! Good luck! :)

Hey, they might be eating whatever they want but skinny doesn't = healthy! It's quality of food that goes into your body. Focus on being fit & healthy, not skinny! You got it girl!!! It takes time, and the best way to lose body fat is slow & steady. It's gonna take time but you'll love the journey!

Oh and I've never ever ever had an injury doing CrossFit! I listen to my coaches, listen to my body, and never try to max out if it means my form is gonna be off. Train smart not hard!

Hey! I am a CrossFit trainer. Things to know: Not all CrossFit gyms are the same, if you don't like the first one you go to, try another one. Your trainers should be paying attention to you and the class, giving cues and actually coaching, not sitting around chatting. If the coaches aren't being attentive and being lazy,…

Keep your chest up in ALL of your reps. You just have some limited range of motion in your thoracic spine (middle back) which is causing you to lean forward during your squat, not bad tho! Work on the mechanics before adding weights. I'm gonna post some videos on MFP soon if you're interested in learning some techniques!

Roll out your back with a foam roller

I just take regular BCAA's for pre & during workouts

Yup, quest bars are one of the cleanest nutrition bars on the market & they taste really good! I snack on 4oz plain Greek yogurt mixed with 10g protein powder (chocolate flavor)- turns my plain yogurt into chocolate yogurt, 1/2 cup blueberries and a few almonds or cashews in the mix

Hello & Welcome!

Don't even worry about what other people think! Whether they're paying attention to you or not, you're running to be a better version of yourself and that's ALL that matters. Go get your run on girl!

I'm going to start posting my mobility and workout tips on YouTube soon. I'm a trainer btw. You can learn a lot from YouTube but definitely changing your eating habits and exercising regularly will help you keep unwanted weight off

I'm not on 1200 calories but I'm happy to motivate and be motivated :)

I also struggle with PCOS and will be happy to help you! It takes time, patience, and persistence. Won't happen overnight or in a week or month, but it will happen! Just start with a few small changes at a time, and every week add one more small change. You'll adapt to these little changes, feel better, and it won't feel…

Diet pills do not work. It's all just to take people's money. The best thing you can do is slow & steady. Summer bodies are made in the Winter. Eat lean meats, whole foods, organic when possible, grass fed, etc, drink lots of water, exercise regularly and you'll reach your goals. Unfortunately, fat loss and muscle growth…

I have no idea how many calories I burn when I go to CrossFit. I would suggest using a Fitbit?
