Unfortunately we didn't get any exotic meats in. I do like moose jerky.

I'm in the same boat. School is starting back up in a few weeks and while my semester load isn't as heavy this year, I've been elected president of a philanthropic club which will take up a lot of time. I'm already telling myself that I'll have to cut back on my already meager mileage for September which makes me anxious…

@squeaker87 on board with the candy! Although mine would end with green. I firmly believe all green candies taste superior to other colors 🤣

This made me chuckle. Brad was a lawyer and his BIL is as well. We were out to dinner once right after I had started back to school and I mentioned that I was thinking about law school. They both enjoy, or enjoyed, their careers but related law school to systematic torture. Of course being who I am, I listened and decided…

Welcome! I don't have any advice other than try to stay within a calorie defecit. Also as a diabetic consult your doctor before beginning any new exercise, but I'm sure you have that locked down. Diabetes, especially T1, is near & dear to my heart. I wish you success!!

I debated a bit about answering this as I still kinda feel like a new kid around here, but here goes. I hope it's not too long winded. I agree with @PastorVincent that relationships that hope to be successful require compromise however, I think relationships that are struggling or have some underlying issues often have an…

I'm scheduled for 3.5 today but that will not be happening. I forgot that I'm manning the lib booth at National Night Out. Sitting out in the heat. Fun. It'll be cool enough to run when I get home, but way too late for me to feel comfortable running. :|

When I click on a recipe, I have to scroll through about 5 paragraphs (personal creed, inspiration for the recipe, etc) and 8 ingredient/prep stage pics to get to the recipe. Why? I just want to make zucchini friters.

This is the point of running. There is joy to be found. The joy you felt in those woods. Does it always feel great during? No. Will I ever top my age group or have amazing times? No. However, I routinely set out to accomplish something that I spent many years thinking I couldn't do. And it feels *kitten* amazing. I feel…

Folks that don't know the difference between reply and reply all. So say lib director sends out mass email (for two branches) to about 50 people so that we are "all on the same page." If that isn't bad enough, then I get at least 15-20 emails replying to the director with either stupid questions (that would be answered if…
