What can you do, beat yourself up for 5 minutes, and get back to it. You cant go back in time. Now hopefully you learn for going forward any cues or any means to not do it again. but unfortunately time travel hasnt been invented yet. So get back on track immediately.

Why do you feel you dont have to count calories? The only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit. You wont know if your in a deficit for sure unless you track. This is a tough one. To get into Ketosis you want to limit your meals and definitely cut out snacks not add them, why, because any food/meal/snack will cause a rise in insulin and temporarily halt the body from burning it's own fat as a source of energy.

yes! I am down 30#'s since Jan 1. I sleep so much better and my wifes says my snoring is no longer bothering her. So this was a great side benefit! I have more energy than when I was a teenager.

i am keto and love it! its not as restricting like so many other diets. i thought I would miss bread, pasta and fruits, but have simply replaced them with more vegetables, meat and eggs. Love it! Down 30 lbs since Jan 1.

I too am LCHF, dont worry the hunger will come. Your on an adrenaline and ketones high because you are seeing results. But your body will certainly catch up and you will eat.

I certainly cannot tell anyone what to do. I think I am done posting on these boards. No matter how you approach it you get such an adverse reaction to what your true intentions are. Sorry to say there is no secret formula, 5 minute exercise or magic diet. The truth is though you have to find the "way of eating" at a caloric deficit that is right for you! If you stay within your calorie goal you don't have to be keto or low carb. These are simply types of way of eating that people gravitate toward to lose weight or maintain. They choose this woe because they can stick with it and reach their goals. If it is too restrictive for you find an alternate method.

Fat cells might "always be open" but when insulin is spiked those cells cannot be accessed for energy.

@LolaDeeDaisy23 Could be sooner, but yep, the water needs to be removed from the cells, they will hold on tight. It sucks I know. OBTW: I love almonds too and really have to watch it. I try to keep them out of the house, those calorie packed goodness - can get the best of us.
