I am right there with you. I keep getting motivated and then unmotivated. However I am down 48 pounds and last month I stopped pretending I would workout at home and got a gym membership! I usually weigh in every two weeks or so. Weighing in every day wouldn't show much change and can be discouraging. If you want to monitor it more often you could also limit yourself to once a week.
