So sorry for your loss . I can only imagine how difficult it is to lose a spouse. I am sure I would gain weight. Feel free to add me. I check in every day.

26 lbs would be about a lb a day. Not possible. Not healthy. Don't take nutritional advice from a trainer. Speak to a registered dietician.

I felt really good eating vegan doing weight watchers but my weight loss stalled because I was eating too many nuts and seeds which are very caloric. Good luck to you.

Start by dividing your dinner plate into 4 quadrants. I veggie, 1 fruit, 1 starch and 1 protein at each meal. Add in a serving of lofat dairy as between meal snacks. This is the USDA.gov Myplate method that replaced the old food pyramid. Force your self to eat 3 meals a day. Break the starve and binge cycle. I did it. You…

Getting a good nights sleep because of my cpap helped me have more energy and less cravings for sugar. Before cpap I was tired all day and dieting was especially hard.

I had that problem too when I lost 25 pounds on weight watchers. I ended up gaining it all back.

Having problems with my heart. Put on a medication to slow down my heart beats. Being told I am borderline prediabetes last week and being at my all time highest weight ever. Taking 6 meds a day. I am only 55 and don't think I am going to live very long unless something changes drastically. Alot of the meds I am on cause…

Good for you for not buying the bigger jeans. I have struggled with weight most of my adult life especially after quitting smoking and having my 2 kids. I am eating 1200 calories but am really just maintaining. Can't seem to lose. My activity level is pretty low though. I weigh in on Friday so we will see how this week…

That is excellent progress on WW. I just was really hungry all the time and the leader kept saying fill up on veggies but they didn't really satisfy my cravings very well. I had such a sweet tooth and ww doesn't really accomodate that on the new program like it did on the old program. I think a piece of cake is like 24…

feel your pain. I too lost 25 pounds on weight watchers in 2015 but lost my job and got very depressed and had to go on 3 or 4 meds that cause weight gain. As much as I tried to watch my eating I gained it all back over the last 2 years. I walked 4 or 5 times a week, managed to gain on weight watchers new program. So…

Good for you to join the MFP site. Try to just take it 1 day at a time. Commit to logging in every day and every morsel . Remember to emphasize whole foods, Fruits and veggies, complex carbohydrates and lean meats and dairy and the weight loss will follow. I like the plate method that the USDA recommends: You divide your…

I saw my dr Last week and she said now my blood sugar is 100 which is borderline pre diabetes. I am 55 and it seems like I am falling apart healthwise. I bought a really good book on reversing diabetes and have been trying to eat better quality foods while paying attention to daily calories as well and I have had a good…

I get cravings for fast food so I order a kids hamburger meal with unsweetened iced tea and that is about 400 calories.
-
Great job. Keep at it no matter what and don't ever stop taking care of yourself.
-
It could be something as simple as amount of food from the day before that you haven't eliminated yet. As gross as that sounds!
-
I think if you have got the body for them and they are comfortable then wear them. Age is not a factor.

You may have broke a rib.

I spend about 100 a week for me and my husband and adult son . We pack all lunches and eat out dinner about 1 or 2 times a month. I plan my weeks menu based on the store flyers ad sales for meat and produce. Aldis has a fit & active line of foods that are quite good. Their produce is very fresh and cheap. I do not buy much…
