I purposefully turn shopping into a mini-workout! If I want something from a store in the mall I make myself do 1 full lap of walking around the mall before I am allowed to do any shopping. It usually gets me about 3,500 steps. I am one of those "mall walkers" and I embrace it :D

It's comments like this that really make me miss the awesome button! I feel like "like" isn't strong enough and "hug" is creepy.

Worst birthday present ever! lol

What...I....how...what?! This is so horrible on so many levels I don't even know where to start! All's I can say is *hugs*!

I have only been able to find it at one store in my area and that was one of those tiny "natural food" grocery stores (Lori's natural foods if anyone is looking for it in Rochester NY). It was good but for how expensive it was I probably wouldn't buy it again. I had the chocolate chip kind.

I have been using MFP for almost 2 years and every year on my birthday it takes away about 10 calories without me adjusting anything, I am set to maintain.

I'm probably REALLY slow on this one but I was just introduced to making Smores with candy other than plain milk chocolate. I'm pretty sure a smore made with a Reeses cup is my new favorite thing! They are also really good made with milk ways. Not a new product but I still wanted to share!

Have a look at this thread OP https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10659410/do-stomachs-shrink

How old are you OP?

I have done the same thing only was not as graceful and balance and you were and ended up just sliding down the hill on my butt! There was also one terrifying moment when I slid out onto a frozen pond, luckily it was solid and I did not fall through!

I have recently been battling the same issue and I had to face reality with myself, I am not genuinely hungry when I tend to over eat. I have been trying to track my binges and compare them to what is going on in my life. I have learned that I actually tend to binge when I am genuinely happy and content, odd I know. I…

I just wanted to chime in here and say that I once worked with a client who was on keto to control her seizures and she was over weight/ border line obese so it is certainly not a "miracle guaranteed to lose weight diet" as some claim it to be. It did however work wonders for controlling her seizures.

Phew! So glad you can eliminate that! I would not wish bed bugs on my worst enemy.
-
I don't want to alarm you but if you are primarily getting them while you are sleeping and they wake you up it could be bed bugs. Not the most likely scenario but I speak from experience. When I was about 14 I would wake up everyday with hives on my legs and arms. It turned out I was having an allergic reaction to bed bug…

Warning: TMI coming your way. I have IBS-D and have tried quite a few things to get in under control, nothing seems to help for the long term and even my GI is stumped. I am definitely with you on the embarrassing gas and I also get rather embarrassing bouts of diarrhea to the point where I usually have to scrub the toilet…

I have not personally tried one but I feel like they are a bunch of woo. The one they advertise near me has a disclaimer on the end that says "Dr X's program is run under his doctorate in pastoral science." Personally if I am paying an arm and a leg for a program I want it to come from a registered dietitian not a pastor.…

Do you still have the instructions that came with it? I wonder if you can re-set it somehow and/or re calibrate it? ETA: Sorry about derailing the thread OP, I will stop now :)
-
If you are recording what the scale says I would not call it "cheating" whether you had to calibrate it or not, that is your current weight. Have you tried changing the batteries in your scale to help correct the program reading? I have never used a scale program before but it should not give you a different weight just…

I am also one of those who says that a couple weeks is not a plateau and you should give it more time. However, I find it odd that your scale gives you the EXACT same reading every time as the human body tends to experience fluctuations from day to day. Try weighing yourself holding a heavy object, such as a 10 pound…

I just eat them raw lol they are my absolute favorite vegetable to eat raw. I cut it down the middle take out the seeds and stem them just go to town!

There's a frappuccino version?! :o

A typical haul for me at the public market, love my fresh produce! ETA: In case you can't tell I have a thing for bell peppers

I carry a good chunk of my weight in my thighs, hips and butt and like you have a relatively small waist, it can be hard to find jeans. I have had pretty good luck with American Eagle brand jeans and the curvy fit Jeans from Loft. If you need dress pants Loft has some called the "julie fit" that are good for those of us…

I saw the Starbucks cinnamon shortbread latte advertised and decided to try one this morning, it was really good, didn't think I would like it as much as I did! I got it with almond milk and an extra shot of espresso and the coffee to sugar ratio was perfect for me. They put real cinnamon in it so it does not have that…

It sounds like your trainer gave you some bad advice, like really bad you definitely need to eat more not cut calories further. If you are not trying to lose weight but want to lose body fat look into re composition or "recomp" for short. This is where you eat at maintenance but also do a progressive lifting program so you…

I am horrible with auto correct and my most unfortunate ones always seem to happen when I am texting a client on an agency issued phone :# However most of my clients are used to my clumsy fingers by now so they just laugh it off but if I get a new client it can be quite embarrassing.
-
I try and make what I give up for lent a true sacrifice but that is a personal decision because of my religion. I usually give up Starbucks because that is a struggle for me. One year I gave up taking any elevators. My rule though is do not give up anything that can hurt your physical or mental health. I had a friend in…
