That's incredibly helpful, thank you! :D In UK they have the sugars detailed on the packaging, dunno whether the US do that. Personally I just try and keep sweet stuff out of the house best I can except for cheat day :)

I don't doubt this for one second! Well done :)

Maybe just write 'My GP doesn't have a clue' and not 'most GP's' - bit of a false claim and just because he is eating crisps doesn't mean he doesn't know about nutrition. You shouldn't discourage people from seeing their GP

Love it - 'I saw one gp eating crisps and now "most UK Gp's haven't a clue on nutrition"...'..lol

Yeah I'm only 40 - feeling like the youngest in the class for first time in a while! :p Was here a few years back and now here to help get support while gym is closed and I added some lockdown kg's. Hate the forums, prefer friends on my feed posting how they are smashing workouts and goals

It is just what they call it - think the Rock gave it that name, go and ask him why he called it that? Can't the OP try it and see if it is for her or does she have to do what people here tell her she has to do? lol. Finding what works for you is what this is all about. No perfect way, just a way that works for you

Thank god you are back!! Missed you soooooo much!

Totally with this - a cheat day or cheat meal (robots don't like term cheat day :p ) can help break up that pressure. When you hit your goal you can celebrate and then enjoy maintenance. Will done though mate

95% better for you than smoking - in the UK anyway
