Ah man I can't believe that thread was gone...I've been looking for two weeks for it :D finally got some decent priced cream cheese ^.^. Thanks for the link!

Thanks @AlexandraFindsHerself1971 ! sounds interesting. Today what worked for me was pushing through- I really was so tired but I kept switching my workout minutes up in order to keep myself focused. The workout was all over- but I got it done!

I am a fan of how @MaltedTea suggests to cook- however I use my instapot -mostly because I continually forget to take meat out of the freezer and most things can cook from frozen, that baby can cook a whole roast in 2 hours (a 6 lb roast!). I also hate to stand there while things cook so this gives a really good option to…

I still want nachos. I swear all I ever crave is chicken nachos and a good chocolatey soft brownie. Apart from that I might get a seasonal urge to eat watermelon or berries- but those are hardly a calorie count breaker.

Look up small space workouts on youtube if you plan on doing them inside your rig, or fitnessblender is also great although I imagine some will need to be outside. For portion control- ya I dont really eat cereal or "real" pasta anymore lol I cant justify the amount to calorie ratio. Instead I try and stick to things like…

*bump because during covid lockdown its nice to find easy ideas* -stand at my stand up desk at work at least 50% of working hours -walk around while responding to phone calls -use the farthest away printer always -vaccum every day (to be fair I have a german sheppard x gold lab so its required haha) -heel raises when I am…

I dont really have a suggestion beside move more- but I would suggest these podcasts if you are into them: Shaun T's Trust and Believe Podcast: Episode 216- 12 Ways to Stay Committed all Year <- this one is fab for habits/goals. Its really about only committing to one thing a month and why that is so important- just as…

Yup that would also fit the bill. :D
-
agreed what is this? Although maybe I shouldn't know as I love peanut butter :D

Listened to a great podcast about fitness and it re framed my mindset. I don't feel so overwhelmed now and will continue to trust this process.

So I recently found out that Shaun T has a podcast (this is not a plug its 100% free on apple podcast app). I loved Shaun T when I was in post secondary trying to get back to some form of fitness again- I completed t25 and insanity (yes I still have the completion t shirts haha) in my small dorm room (my cousin was a rep…

I just want to say thank you for that thread- I often view this journey as incredibly restrictive (my maintenance is 1600 ish calories, thanks height and BMR) and it helped me change my view this afternoon in a refreshing way :)

I feel intrigued but also mildly grossed out by this.

If I remember right-white chocolate or caramel sauce. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is a dangerous place. I've never seen shakes like that before :D
-
also this- basically because we cant travel- otherwise I'd have a crazy workout for a burger and the fries.
-
when we went hubby had the cheesecake one. I didnt have any because that is a lot- however I could really dive into the mocha brownie one today.

Getting up early and getting after it :) yes 4:30 is early but now its done. Again- laying out my gym clothes, headphones and pre workout last night was essential to not going back to bed. Also thankfully made a bunch of hardboiled eggs- I have a meeting during lunch but now I can stick to my meal instead of binging after…

@amckholmes np, best of luck! Hope you can find some pocket friendly options lol!

Trust and Believe with Shaun T- Podcast. He keeps it real and refreshing (although not all are 100% fitness, but general health). He talks a lot about science/studies as well. I also like to search the weightlosssuccess tag on insta :) so much inspo

I used to work 80 hours a week- this is partially why I am back here again. Towards the end of my time at that gig I'd make myself an alarm for just even a walk- I'd also meal prep. Its more the mental health side vs the actual workout. If you have time to workout on the weekend great- but if not- go for a walk, listen to…

laying out my gym clothes, headphone and pre workout last night. Was in my face as soon as I walked in the bathroom at 5:00am and didnt even question going back to bed.

My fav article to read when this happens: https://physiqonomics.com/the-weird-and-highly-annoying-world-of-scale-weight-and-fluctuations/ honestly just drink some more water (to help with any sodium etc) and move a bit. But I agree with others- what lead to the binge/cheat etc?

I really liked their programs. Back in the day pre on demand, I got t25 dvds from a coach and it was awesome. But she was an awesome coach- didnt push the other *kitten* on anyone ever and supported you. I lost 20 lbs and didnt touch a shake etc, just cleaner diet and those workouts in my little dorm room (that was the…

Nuts, pepperoni stick, baybell cheese wheel, jerky maybe the squeeze packs of nut butters pre trip? Thinking to keep you fuller.
-
Nope- I do log coffee as mine is about 3 cals a cup. I dont log spices- I hate mustard but since it has calories I'd probably log it in recipes. I dont log water either.

@debrakgoogins- stay safe! Hope the restoration goes smoothly. Huge congrats on hitting your 50 ft goal with hammer! I love the backyard you had a bbq in- it looks so relaxing but a great place to hang! @fstrickl - what a beautiful place to walk :) enjoy your camping trip :) @tenazhsc your field work sounds like quiet the…

I think finding something you love is important- for me its TRX. The workouts are difficult- as difficult as I want or make them to be (there are easier ones of course). I get so lost focusing on the moves I dont have time to think- which is something as I normally am awake hours with my wandering mind every night. Other…

I am in Alberta, Canada. My gym reopened but I haven't gone back- they allow you to book a spot online and you can come as a household or just yourself (so you + anyone in same house over 18) for a max of 1.5 hours. The owner is a total clean freak, even before covid, but I still don't feel comfortable to go. The only…

AM workout complete- it's supposed to be 32 here today which is very warm (we might get a week of +30 here its rare, I've seen a lot more -30 in this life so far lol). Did TRX which is my absolute favorite and picked a workout I knew would challenge me. Was impressed I could still hold a plank that long, same with my…
