Lunch (technically it's breakfast as I tend to fast from 9pm to 1pm) for me at work is pretty simple: ham sandwich or 3 salt and vinegar rice cakes, apple, Yogurt and small wafer-type biscuit. My lunch break is 30 minutes and I'd rather eat something light, as my main meal evening time is more substantial.

@drmwc 5k in 30 minutes is a good time and isn't slow. Quite impressive as you said that you don't usually run, well done.

Rest day today, so just a 3.1 mile family walk this afternoon.

When I started logging my food on here around 11th March, I had a calorie goal set at 1,200. Fast forward 6 weeks and I have reached my goal weight and am now on maintenance of 1,678 calories a day. 1,200 calories a day is tough and I'm quite active: run, walk, do rebounding and isometric workouts. What I have found is…

I just bought a 'TRX-style' suspension trainer set from Amazon for £37.00 from a company called Rhinosport. I looked into the original TRX and that was £140.00! I use mine anchored over the door, as I don't have a wall mount. It looks the same as the original TRX and is good quality, but I guess this will be the test over…

8.5 mile run along the beach. Not a fan of sand or running on it 😁, but it's good training and makes you focus on running form. April cumulative: 67/100 miles, elevation 4,541 feet.

Had my 1st Covid vaccine on Saturday (Astra Zeneca), still have a sore arm, feeling tired, headache has now gone, but no change in weight. I'm always hydrated and drink on average 2,200 ml of fluid a day. Maybe that helped, but I'll make sure I'm well hydrated before the 2nd vaccine.

4.3 mile walk this afternoon. Had my first Covid Vaccine yesterday morning and have a dead arm which hurts and a headache I can't shift. Hopefully tomorrow the side effects will lessen so that I can go for a run.

Thank you @rosiekin, 6 years of being able maintain is amazing, along with not being a slave to the scales and weighing yourself. Feeling quite positive about the journey ahead and know there will be ups and downs, but hopefully I can get a system on place.

Thank you everyone for all your replies. I'm pretty new to all this calorie counting/logging etc and have struggled for a couple of years to get to my current weight, even though I didn't have a lot of weight to lose. I had previously put it down to my age (42 years old) and wrongly believed it was my age preventing me…
