Yeah, not having to cook or clean up after for a year was pretty sweet. If there was a home made meal I wanted I made it, it wasn't a big deal, I just didn't have to! Especially in the beginning it let me redirect that energy into other fitness activities to get the ball rolling.

I love the consistent progress pics! It's something I always wished I did! You're doing fantastic!

I've been cooking up a storm. This is a NSV because I have been using a boxed service for so long. I forgot how good a home cooked steak can be.

Visible veins and vascularity reminding you of your own mortality (Makes you wonder if you'd even survive a well placed paper cut) Unpadded chairs are extremely uncomfortable for those of us without a natural butt cushion.

I was on the 18 meal plan, but I used to prepay using the "Performance package", this resulted in an almost 20% discount! They no longer offer the package deals, and the full asking price is not competitive. It's actually more expensive than some of the competition like zilla meals and jimmy's famous meals.

You even look younger!

I'm actually down 95lbs recently as well lol, but I'm more impressed with my brownies not completely breaking me off track. My other weird cravings are deep fried fish and a milk shake, or deep fried chicken sandwich with pickles. When I get these cravings they are basically all I can think about until I have them. I…

@FABRICWOMAN I added it in paint. @AngWBald That is a great idea. I saw similar ideas with both cream cheese and peanut butter variations for making cookies. This would technically work with any cookie dough. :yum: Thankfully I'm not much of a sweets person, and my sweets cravings are pretty much relegated to brownies only…

I'll go the opposite opinion of other people, and say, there's nothing wrong with eating the same thing every day. In fact, that typically works better for me. There's less planning required, and helps me reaffirm that whole "food is fuel not recreation" mindset. I save my "variety" for special occasions like holidays,…

Nutella is so dangerous 😂

I think I'm going to go a step further and go to a bakery. This happens to me once or twice a year, and I have no idea why. I get these crazy strong cravings and there can be no substitute!

Something like Huel may be beneficial in your situation. Otherwise there's plenty of calorie friendly pre made frozen meals at the grocer. You can snack on fresh veggies.

Getting under 200lbs again. So close! Goal after that is 185, then final target weight is just 175. So close! I was ~304 last february.

Yes, it is "simple" but not always "easy". I don't know why MFPers constantly have to pretend it is. If it was so easy, obesity rates would not be what they are, and people would not be on this forum asking for help.

Sheer and unadulterated will power. If it was easy, everyone would do it and there wouldn't be a multi billion dollar industry to sell it to us.

I've fought binge eating off and on all my life too, and the most helpful and powerful part of what you wrote, for me, was: > eat whatever you are craving with no judgement. Stress is a pretty common trigger to 'stress' eating. Sometimes I will still binge out of pure hunger and craving (usually brownies, I don't know why,…

I know I'm not the original OP, but I felt like updating: My prediction was correct. I just got a pair of 36x30s delivered today and they are a perfect fit. I'm still a size L shirt though. Feels good.

That's just chocolate meringue. It's not the right texture. The recipes that use dates aren't bad. Lenny and larry used to make a "muscle brownie" that was damn near perfect (like a little debbie brownie but with 14g protein). RIP. The EMGF brownies aren't "bad", just more pound cake than fudgey. After 5 EMGF brownies I…

I am following up that I bought brownies (and other assorted 'sweets') from thinslim foods, and they are just awful. The brownies and other "squares" taste like..... wet cardboard. They're a bit gelatainous and its pretty gross The cloud cakes are edible but have the same cardboard + artificial flavor thing going on. I…

I never knew rowing burned that many calories. It's close in numbers to running and jump rope. Now I see why so many people fawn over it. Tried it before but didn't really like it. I definitely prefer my collection of jump ropes for hit. I don't see how anything that burns that many calories can be considered liss. That is…
-
I'd have to strongly disagree with you there, regardless of fitness level. I'd also have to disagree with what your definition of what LISS is. 600 cals an hour is the equivalent of jump rope or running. That's not low intensity at all, even if it is sustained. I still like it. I think it's important. It's a different…

Eatmeguiltfree brownies, and quest peanut butter cookies. I gotta stop my shenanigans 🤤🤤😭

I wouldn't even log em at 300. I guesstimate them to be around 150 kcals, but I'm weary of over counting calorie burn.

"I understand a week isnt long," That's 100% of this. Don't freak out because the scale doesn't move for a week or two. It is never going to be fully linear. If you're eating at a deficit and being active, the weight will come off in time, but it is never going to be like clock work. Think in terms of months and years, not…

Thanks. That is about what I would expect considering the macros on it I guess. Hoping I can just quell my craving with lousy low cal brownies. Fingers crossed. Summer is right around the corner.
-
Out of curiosity does anyone have any experience with "thinslim foods" particularly their ultra low calorie brownies? Wicked expensive, but I just placed an order.
-
I think that's a west coast thing.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who gets the fried fish craving. I do about the same, it's not a big deal b/c I can just have it a couple times and the craving goes away. Brownies not so much, it's like one of those cartoons where the little snowball rolling down the hill turns into a snow boulder.

I mean, that's good advice, but I have some issues with it: If I eat a brownie (or at least a regular brownie), I have two choices: Go over my calorie goal, or go under my protein goal. Neither of which make me mentally excited. As for substitutes.... nothing really substitutes brownies for me, and as soon as I bite into…
