  • If you fish is fishy - you have bad fish! LOL I bake and poach my fish. I also like a white fish with chickpea ragout now and then. http://www.womansday.com/Recipes/White-Fish-with-Chickpea-Ragu-Recipe.html I also like flounder piccatta http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/flounder-piccata-with-spinach-10000001714549/ I make…
  • You dont tell her that! You support her in her journey - remind her to be healthy. You will only cause issues if you discourage her! And depending on how much weight she has to lose - it's not all that unrealistic in my opinion.
  • Thanks!

  • Sure is! I get a good work out when I play with Billy! It's fun. Any work out DVD will work - You'll get out what you put in! :D Steph
  • Garbage disposal.
  • I can't unregister it from the persons computer that downloaded all the music on it for me. I-Tunes is not an option. My questions is, once it's been registered to I-tunes, can I start over and use a different MP3 loader or am I stuck with I-tunes? (which I can't maintain)
  • Eat. If you wait until later to eat your just going to over eat. Make sure that you pack some healthy snacks to have on hand throughout the day.
  • I just had a protein brownie. Good to get something in your belly before bed. IMO.
  • Anything that is processed is going to be high in soduim. Lunch meats. Eating out. Three biggies. Start cooking more.
  • Keep in mind that it doesn't have to be protein powder. It needs to be protein. You can eat it too - you don't have to drink it. So if you know that you're going to be eating dinner/lunch/breakfast right after your workout, make sure your meal has protein in it and you'll be fine. (FYI - all of your meals should have…
  • Here's a secret - any work out plan or DVD will get you results as long as you put in the effort and stick with it. Just sayin... :) If you liked them - do them!
  • I don't. I stopped using mine after about three months. I had just a wrist one, with out a chest strap. I found that I was constantly checking it and that it took away from my work out. Haven't used one since. I use the numbers that MFP gives me. Steph
  • I'm pretty excited too. Harley camping road trip.
  • I have found that when I do weights first I have more strength to get it done. If I do cardio first I am sometimes tired and don't get as much out of my lifting. I say weights first, then cardio. But that's just my opinion. :flowerforyou:
  • I"m at 19.1% (last time measured was about a month ago) and my goal is 15%. But I'm adding lean muscle and trying to drop body fat%. I'm shooting for the fitness figure look. :D A girl can dream! Right?!?!
  • Easiest way to avoid sodium is to stay away from processed food and the salt shaker. Cook for yourself to monitor how much salt you put in your food.
  • I weigh in once a week. I log it if it's a gain or a loss.
  • Looks good! Thank for sharing. 1/2 the calories as my nerf one. But I think close to 1/2 the protein too....But still something worth trying out!
  • Only buy what's in season. Best bet for the juciest and most flavorful. I'm sure if you google it you'll find what in season when...
  • As long as you are a healthy adult and you dont have any kidney or liver issues, yes - you can have more than what WFP gives you. If you're not sure - or you eat a ton of it - ask your doctor. I had blood work done to check liver and kidney function just to be on the safe side - I consume a lot of it.
  • Not sure what you're worried about. Most people are there to work out. They aren't looking at you - or watching you. They go there to get the job done and go home. So - do the same. It's your gym. Get your work out on!
  • exercise to kill being bored. go for a walk, bike ride, jog.

  • I slice my sweet potatoes into rounds and grill them. they don't take as long and they get a litle more charing on them which I like.
  • Box of instant oatmeal - $3 - 8 packs - there is your breakfast - add a dozen eggs - under $3 for a dozen. 3-4 oz of chicken breast brown rice - you can buy in bulk for damn cheap frozen veggie that you can eat to go with it. cooks once for the week. you'll be under $60 - you'll have left over $$ for pudding, almonds, more…
  • Olive Oil Chicken Broccoli Brown Rice Low Sodium Chicken Broth
  • The next one I have made is going to say: If you don't know why you're fat - look in your cart and wear it to the grocery store... LOL I'm a little on the sassy side.....
  • I loved grilled veggies and some grilled chicken. Or turkey burgers. Veggies that I grill are: tomatoes mushrooms asparagus green onions peppers zucdhini I toss with a little olive oil and italian seasoning once cooked. Or ICBINT spray works well for that too.
