I'm having shirts made that say: I'm not too skinny - you're just fat I'm going to be making a TON of friends at the gym. LOL But it's for the people who feel the need to comment on my weight, when I would never dream of telling them that they need to lose a few pounds. LOL Passive agressive is the way I go. LOL (and I'm…

Depends on what you're using it for. It's like dumbells - you don't use one weight for all exercises.

Talk to a trainer at your gym. They will be more than happy to show you. You should get at least one free session with your gym membership I would think. bodybuilding.com is also a great place - a lot of info and they have programs you can do and videos on how to do those exercises. But - I highly suggest having someone at…

It helps if you chose foods that keep you fuller longer (protein & fiber!), eat smaller meals more often. Plan ahead. Lot of water.

I eat the Quaker Weight Control Packets every day of the work week.

I agree!

I know it's like crack - I just got a free bike from Christy - up above - and it's no longer cutting it. I'm already riding 20+ miles and I'm ready for more! My last ride was 21.76 in 93 minutes. I'm riding on bike paths - some are paved, some are not - I am looking at a mountain bikes. And I am sportin one silly tan -…

Thanks guys. I"m not afraid of the bike store snobs ;) They are just a little out of my price range. I live in a pretty expensive area where people can afford the expensive bikes - and that's what they carry. We also live in Trek area - they build them out here, so they are everywhere yet still out of my price range. It…

Yep. Looks like your BF% is pretty low - if you read up on BF% it will tell you than when a woman dropps below a certain % that is can mess with her cycle. Talk to your doc if you are worried.

That was funny! Yeah - I don't need a $2000 Trek Something that is a good beginner bike for $300 - I'm not riding in the Olympics.... I'll run up to Sports Authority and see what they have.

Am I the only one that thinks this looks nasty? LOL. Yikes!

I can wear a size 4 - 9 - all depends on what department and what brand.

Almonts, natural peanut butter.

Anything I put here I'm going to sound like a B..... LOL cut out the junk in my advise. It's what got most of us here in the first place. If you keep it to only special occasions great. If you can keep a chocolate bar and only eat a square - go for it. Most people cant. Three bites turns into 6 turns into the whole thing.…

NOpe. Just keep doing it. you're body will tell you if you're doing too much. Shred is only 1/2 hour a day. You can add more on to that. Once you're use to it of course. The first few days are brutal if you're not use to working out. Good luck! Keep that motivation going!
-
Pedal faster..... LOL No clue what you mean by "feel the road" I can do 22 miles in appros 90 minutes - that's on paved paths....And I'm moving pretty good.
-
Um, yeah....depends on how much effort you're putting into it. Walking, jogging, running, all out sprinting. Incline, tension, slow pace on the bike, fast pace. It varies on too many levels. The important thing is you're doing it. Get a HRM if the exact number is important.

You're not eating enough. Don't go below 1200 - period! Get enough water, sleep, protein. Stay away from bad fats, keep sugar down, stay away from as much processed food as possible. Your profiles says you've been a member since 2008 - I would assume you'd know this by now......? or is that wrong??? I would suggest…

Nobody can really give you a hand until you make your food journal public. If we can't see what you've been eating we can't give you suggestions. Sorry.

... book about birds - or Meat Puppets.... Change up your work outs - change up your food. Add more lifting - more cardio - different lifting - different cardio. throw your body a curve ball
-
If you can find a store that carries Dietz & Watson deli meat try that. Less processed, less soduim. You're going to pay a lot more, but it's better for you. Or - cook a turkey breast at home on Sunday for the weeks lunches.....

I used Chantix. Side effects that I had: Hard time sleeping When I could - Vivid dreams (not bad dreams - just very realistic) I had my doc also perscribe me some sleeping pills. I normally wouldn't take a perscription to combat another perscription, but it was worth it to me to quit. I did not gain weight - I focused on…

Not worth it

Holy sugar! You might want to do some research on those! I'm sure you can find a lot less calories and sugar in some others like Crystal light....there is also a liquid drop one that is out now too that I think has NO sugar or calories...(or min calories) Good luck with that - I say toss em!

I think I use to log it under circuit training

DHEA Side Effects and Safety DHEA is a hormone, so it should only be used under the supervision of a qualified health practitioner. Pregnant or nursing women or children should not use DHEA. There have been no studies on the long-term safety of DHEA. One of the more common side effects of DHEA supplements is acne. Other…

I was doing some reading the other day. Doesn't sound all that wonderful. There are a lot of bad side effects and not enough backing for me to beleive that it's a good thing for weight loss. One of the side effects is hair loss - yes, for women too. It surpirses me that you started taking it with out doing some research…
