I've had my fitbit for a couple weeks and I really like it. It counts steps, calories burned. It really helps me keep my activity in check by watching my steps. I try to hit 10,000 steps a day, and I can keep an eye on my numbers and step it up if I'm low. I don't expect it to be spot on when it comes to counting steps or…

won't get rid of it quickly, but I read in a fitness mag to mix a little pumpkin puree with plain or vanilla yogurt, add a little nutmeg and its a sweet and healthy dessert

My husband and I are actively trying for our 2nd and my plan is to continue mfp even after I get pregnant. Im sure I will have to tweak my calorie intake, but I want to stay on this healthier path I've started. So keep logging, you don't have to go anywhere!!

portion control. I have to measure or count everything I eat, like counting out my M&ms, otherwise I'd never stop. Its called mindless eating and I am bad at it. It was like I was in a trance and before I knew the whole bag would be gone. And I've cut back on tv watching because that seemed to be the time I'd snack the…

The easiest healthy meal I make is chicken breast and vegies. They also have lean beef, 93%

yeah, if you go to goals it tells your calories burned from normal activity. It allots me 450 extra calories for normal daily activity as a "sedentary person". So it tells me to eat 1200 calories and I will naturally burn 1650 calories.

I had three pieces of cheese pizza last night. I try to eat out only once a week, guess I got it out of the way really early this week.

I just bought mine 3 days ago and I like it so far. I like keeping track of how many calories I'm burning and how many steps I take because it makes me step it up if my numbers are low. And online it breaks down how much of your day is spent sedentary, lightly active, fairly active, and very active and what times of the…

I have a bulging disc in my back, confirmed with MRI. I did physical therapy and they focused on strenghthening my core, which has always been weak and I had a c section 2 years ago so then my muscles were really weak. When I exercise, I focus on holding my abs in so my back isn't taking the brunt of the force, like when…

I really like Elin Hilderbrand. They are not light and funny but they are really good. All her books take place on Nantucket Island, usually about a woman needing time away to reflect on something that has happened in her life. They are all different somehow tho

Yup, I have about 10 lbs to go!!

Wow!!!! I started it a couple weeks ago but got sick so had to stop, but I am definitely starting again soon. What great inspiration for me!!! thank you!

I didn't read the whole website on it, but I watched someone's personal video talking about it, and she showed how many calories she had burned that day, so it sounds like if you wear it at all times, it will calculate calories burned. I guess it reads heartrate?

I think I may end up getting one. I wanted a pedometer anyways, and it does some other cool stuff too!! I am interested to compare work days vs. non work days since I work 12 hr shifts three days a week.

Yeah, I have cut my calories, but am not eating the right kinds of foods. Embarrassing to admit, but the only actual "real food" I ate today was cheerios with milk for breakfast. The rest of my calories have come from cheezits, goldfish, and cadbury mini eggs. Oh, and sweet potato chips. Gross!!! Granted, most of my days…

We are trying for our second, have been for about 7 months. The first time took us 5 months to concieve, and I guess I figured it would be the same amount of time or less. Each month I start, I am sad that first day, but I try to focus on the fact that I have one more month to focus on myself. The good news is I weigh…

Maybe they don't put as much cheese on the chicken one? like the chicken takes the place of the cheese?

Have a two year old. and a 110 lb dog that follows me everywhere!

beans and rice? I love el ranchos beans and rice, but they put cheese on the beans so you could ask for it without. and put some salsa on for flavor. Yummy!! You are going to want to stay away from anything with beef, its so fatty.

I always hear strengthen your core. I have issues with my lower back, and I've always had weak core muscles, especially after having a c section.

I bring one to work everyday. My focus right now has been calories, I haven't really paid much attention to sodium content, etc. They are just so convenient, since we just have a main break room I can just stick it in the microwave

I work 12 hr shifts three days a week. So I take my 2 yr old son with me to the gym on my off days. I haven't attempted working out on work days yet since i leave for work at 530a and dont get home til 7p. My son is glued to my side on these evenings.
