Check your thyroid too. I was fat, cold all of the time, tired, and had really thin hair. My hairdresser encouraged me to check, and I was hypothyroid. I felt like a new person on the meds (now I just feel normal).

I stir an egg into my oatmeal as it is cooking, (stir quickly). It makes the oatmeal creamier too. (then I add banana, frozen raspberries, sliced almonds)

I just tried green tea pills. They helped me break through my plateau, however now they are making me feel really sick. I'm not taking them again, but thanks for reminding me to buy some of the real tea!

I put in the calories from the exercise machine, and find that MFP does seem to overestimate the exercise expenditure. I usually have to put in 10-15 minutes less "time" than I actually did to equal the calories I supposedly burned on the machine. One of those monitors is a good idea!

Thanks for this post. I've been taking 50 mcg in the a.m., but along with my vitamin and antidepressant. I also don't wait very long before eating/drinking. I'll try the night time!

I was just being impatient and silly. I overestimated the time that the scale was not moving. I have lost a lb in a week. I think I had become accustom to larger losses, and panicked when I didn't see anything in a week. I really appreciate all of the feedback though! :)

I do tend to do the same things at the gym. I will try mixing it up more. (I usually do the arc trainer or elliptical, then i do some machines like the lat pulldown, chest press, leg press, abs). I do measure 95% of my food, occasionally I estimate when I'm eating at work for example. Maybe I am eating more than I think? I…
