Sushi is the most fantastic "oops" I can think of!

Stairs will do it! I agree with Jorocka that it will get better with time. Have you thought about trying hiking poles? They have them decently priced at sports stores. When I lived in Colorado many people used those. It will help you keep your balance also. Keep at it. :-)

I've been lifting for a few years. About 4 months ago I switched to heavy (for me) lifting. These are my recent numbers for my working sets. I can lift each of these weights for sets of 8-10 reps and often for several sets at the max weight. I am a stickler for form. Squats-140lbs (I can go heavier probably but have been…

I started over 200 and have lost about 70lbs so far.

Almost everything you hear now from articles to news stories is pseudoscience. I have just gotten a little better about reading between the lines as well as knowing the difference between causation and correlation.

It is called putting yourself first. Sometimes you have to put yourself first or you will always come last...

I think actually doing the workout matters more than the time of day. It is common for things to "come up" throughout the day and prevent you from doing your workout. With that in mind, I would have to say that morning workouts are better because you get it out of the way right away before anything "comes up."

I would say that they are an excellent tool to begin with and much cheaper than weights.

I put the big plates on the bar. Makes me feel like a badass >.<

I just added up my hours for February and I am at 22.5 hours right now. Just 1.5 left to go

You look simply amazing! It looks like you have lost a significant amount of body fat during this time! You can see the changes everywhere. Fabulous, fabulous job!

I have tried many, many preworkout supplements. I like C4. It is the best one I've tried and have been using it for a year now and have no intention of switching. Another one I have used and liked is Black Powder.

Find something that you LOVE!

Exactly.

^This. Unless you ate high-sodium foods.

I am in between programs right now and I don't know what to do with myself! I finished LiveFit from bodybuilding.com on Sunday. After finishing, Jamie Eason recommends taking a week off from the weights. I am going stir crazy just doing cardio! >.<

Wow! Such an amazing difference! This also happened to me when I began weight training with heavy weights!

It doesn't really change how I workout. I follow my schedule and work hard no matter what time of month it is. With that being said, do what works for you. It DOESN'T matter what advice other people give you.

^ This. Also, it will keep it a little more interesting. Maybe add in some weight training as well.

That sounds easy and tasty! Haha Too bad giving my body real nutrition actually matters to me... :ohwell:

You can tell right away in my face and in my stomach. My behind usually shows the weight loss last.

Three things help me not to binge. Eating regularly. (if I get too hungry it is a problem) Drinking enough water. Keeping trigger foods out of the house. (For me this is French bread & ice cream)

I am a baby when it's cold out. I do live in southern Arizona though so it isn't cold very often. I don't like to run outdoors when it is below freezing.

^^^ What he said. All worth checking out.

Amazing difference! Bravo!

Good on you for doing this with your wife. Way to show support! I would like to add that my first few months of lifting heavier this fall slowed down my weight loss significantly. After roughly two months of adding muscle, the weight (and more importantly the inches) started coming off at a much faster rate. I just thought…

As a few posters have also said, I have known many people who have had amazing results. I, however, know no one who has gotten off of the program and maintained their results. This is in no way saying that people who go off of the program will fail, I just don't know of any people personally. If you think it will be the…

Love it!!!

Now I see this coming in VERY handy!!! Thanks for sharing!

Most hilarious topic I've seen all day. They all seem to go crazy sooner or later when exposed to that amount of fame and fortune at such a young age. I figured he was headed in that direction when they found him peeing in trash cans for the fun of it. Why would someone want to do that? How did he even think it up?
