I will say that it is possible to do low carb and low calorie, because I am doing it!!!!! I feel more satisfied Physically and mentally. Starches make me fat and moody. And I have heard it from doctors themselves, they do not get taught all realms of nutrition.

They may need to change the dose of the meds. Are you having regular blood work done to check your numbers? I also have this and I am still losing weight.

All of the sugar from low fat and processed foods was killing my weight loss. I switched to low carb and fats and I have never felt better!!

Thanks for posting about this. I am looking into it and interested. I have lost 30 pounds but now I am not doing so well with just counting calories. I am going to eat natural for a week and see how I feel.

It is telling me the site is no longer available. Is that what your work computer said? Mine usually comes up that it is blocked if we are not supposed to be on it.

I noticed my daughter putting on weight at eight years old. I had a roommate and her daughter move in and all they did was eat. They had ice cream in the house and soda, which I never kept. I am not an expert, but I would not try another "diet" system. Try just following the calories that mfp gives you. I have done everything else and this is something I can do as a lifestyle. It almost seems to easy because there is no gimmick, but that is the thing, there is no one making money off of it.

You will see both FAT loss and WEIGHT loss. I did it a while back and my body never looked soooo good. So try it for yourself and see!

I would say no. It is about three pounds per week and since it is biggest loser, I would be happy with that. As far as if you should eat more on the days you work out, I would go by how you feel.

I rarely ever reach my goal of 1200. I do not exercise. I always lose at least my 2lb per week. It is different for each person, but as long as you are netting your 1200 or close to it, you should be fine.

I do not break mine into meals at all. I just eat however and whatever calories are left by dinner I do not go over. I do not eat a big dinner anyway, so it is easier for me.

This is interesting. I always like to feel hungry before I go to bed. Even better if my stomach is growling. I "feel" like I will wake up slimmer, lol :smile:
