had the same surprize! I've had my f6 for about 10 months now but for the first two months of my program I didnt use one and just went off the numbers from the machine (stupid me, how was the machine supposed to know how much I was burning!!) it is disappointing at first but hey it is what it is right!!

That's total BS (the tv thing). Calories do matter but they are not the only thing. Many food are high in calories but low in nutrients (empty calories)... what you want is your caloric intake to be full of the nutrients you need. These include Fats, Carbs, Protein, Water, Vitamins and Minerals. The six most essential…

could be Sciatica... I suffer from that and recently inflamed it and it is literally crippling. It was the first time I had ever had it so bad and it took a week and a half to recover. Get rest and dont push it, even though it seems like it wont get better it will. The best position for you to be in is laying flat and…

Sometimes doing this defeats the entire week for some people though haha, I happen to be one of em... grrrr.

Human nature. Humans are very cruel by nature... just look around the world.
-
another tip... look at the carb amounts in the nutrition info for foods... for every gram of carbs you should be looking for at least 25 - 30% of that amount as fiber.... if the food has 30 grams of carbs it should have about 8- 10 grams of fiber, otherwise pair it with a fiberous food to slow it down.

heres a helpful tip... all sugar can and WILL trigger an insulin reaction. You can change this though, it's all about how quickly the sugar enters or is absorbed into your system. Because most sugars (even the ones in healthy foods such as fruit and veggies) are easily digested by our bodies they will spike the blood…

There you go, be honest and build on the positives. Remember, no excuses... its a big part of all of this.

Yeah lets not hate on guys ok, we're all human and human nature is very cruel. You women are just a guilty as men at having all these same attributes
-
Im serious, excuses like that keep us all overweight, ONLY YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR ENVIRONMENT. These people in your house who "also eat the sweets" can be asked to keep them in a hiding spot. I do it with my "skinny no matter what she eats" wife all the time. Trust me, if these people care about you and your goals then they…

it's not all about calories... the sugar is your enemy regardless of weather or not you burn those 100 calories the fact still remains that you are putting something into your system which spikes your bloodsugar most likely triggering and insulin reaction.
-
that sounds like a pretty weak *kitten* excuse to me
-
Heres something that will help. When you eat sugary foods like sweets, pretty much all of that sugar is being stored as fat!! You pancreas secretes Insulin to help balance out the blood sugar which spikes immensely when we eat those types of foods. That sugar is then most of the time stored as fat! Still want the sweets??

this has been a long time debate on here. Personally I think it makes it easy to develop really lazy habits as far as excercising goes if we all just log in every time we move as excercise. I only log actual excercise (ie cardio and weights, etc...). Think about it.

are they in your house? it all comes down to willpower... you either have it or you dont! How badly do you want to lose fat?
-
flail your arms wildly for 1/2 an hour... you laugh now but try it, I guarantee it will get that heart going!
-
Damn shame I'd say, it's down right baffling!

word.
-
I really didn't expect you to get it.

another things to focus on instead of just calories (which everyone rams down your throat around here like it's the only damn thing to be concerned about) is the nutrient content of the calories you are consuming. Try to make your foods as natural as possible, avoid the empty calorie foods like takeout and frozen dinners.…

^^ this guy sounds like he's repeating what he's heard a million times!!

^^ whats the hate on for saturated fats?? from healthy sources such as Avocado, saturated fats are the healthy fats... dont hate on fats. WE NEED FAT IN OUR DIET!
-
be more specific... one thing that helped me in the beginning though was natural peanut butter....
-
You're all fired!! Are you serious?? I would **** a squirrel if I knew I was paying you people... no wonder the rest of the working world makes fun of office folk LOL.
-
Well naturally if you are gaining muscle then you will be losing fat to some degree but that doesn't mean you are losing weight. You could actually gain weight. You do realize that, by volume, muscle is more dense and heavy than fat right?
-
totally possible.
-
Please tell me you dont think that carbs are just bread and pasta??

I dont have a spotter, I work out at home by myself usually. When Im on the bench which is the only time I would personally use a spotter, I have stops on my risers that can catch the bar if I fail and cant lift it back up and I also take the retainers off the ends so there is nothing holding the plates on incase I miss…

I totally disagree about muscle isolation, for one thing in real life situations muscles are NEVER isolated... just think about it for a sec. The other thing is that if you try to isolate a muscle you are neglecting the CRITICAL stabilizing muscle groups surrounding the muscle that are integral to its performance. The…
