I am 5'4" and I started at 262lbs and I am currently at 158lbs. It is possible and yes you can do it, I am working on the last 30lbs.

For how much weight you should lift, really I don't do only 60% of what I can lift for jamies phase 1 but I have been lifting weights for 9 months also. I use the weight that by the time I get to 12 reps I can barley do the last one so I lift to exhaustion every time every set then take my 1min recovery in between and do…

I am also doing it starting my 2nd week, the weekend did not go so good as for eating not terrible but not to good either. How is everyone else doing?

Really the only advice I can give you is buy the book BURN THE FAT FEED THE MUSCLE. You are not eating enough to get rid of the fat. It was a big eye opener for me and it makes total sense. I also have not lost much since June of 2010.

I am 5'4" and 157 and my GW is 125 but I cannot remember ever being that number I was probably in sixth grade then. I am looking to lose the last of this weight a healthy way by eating good clean foods and moving more. Best of luck!!!

Really it takes time, increase your cals a little every week until you see a slight gain and then go back down a little and see if it stabilizes. Trial and error is really the only way to find you personal calorie range.

I totally understand with you on this one. I am a daycare provider and it seems like I cook all day. 3 meals and 3 snacks so I am always around food. When I was heavier and started this whole thing I was really good about staying on plan but now that I am smaller I think what is one bite here and there. It is something…

I also agree abs are made in the kitchen, I see people everyday bust their butts doing core exercises and they always say this does not work but they eat a ton of sugar sugar sugar. Real food not processed in the right portions that is what we need.
-
Personally check out bodybuilding.com they have a ton of great exercises and plans I have done the free plans for the last 12 weeks and wowo did I get results

Here is the scoop on me, I am married to a jeweler and no I don't wear mine to the gym. It bigs me when I lift weights and I done want any of the stones to loosen because of it. My husband wears his but his is just a band no stones in the one he wears all the time. He has another with stones for other occalons and I have…

I also am on the Medifast plan, it is not a quick fix or fad diet. Yes it is restrictive but that is what I like. Food is good I don't use some of the items I stay more with puffs, soft serve, brownies, bars, pretzels, shakes. Not any soups and little oatmeals. This program saved my life and I love it, as for people who…

Yes GNC has some good gainers, my husband uses elite mass fudge brownie, it has 600cals/ 4 scoops. He likes the taste of it.

I love my gym time, I have never been able to stay on track doing anything at home. So gym time is ME time.

Not sure if it is true but have been told that the last fat you put on is the first to come off. That is why the tummy is so hard to get rid of because most of us that is the first place the fat goes so is always the last to leave.

This is what I was thinking also, I won't lie I eat the large tub of popcorn and yes I can tell you it is 1200 calories I don't do it all the time maybe once every 2 months but my weight always goes down after it and you would think it would go up. I think my body is trying to tell me something.
-
Yes you are correct, for me it is more of not having to think about it. I love having lists so I know exactly what to do. You could do it without paying all the recipes are for free just use one from each meal, you would have to figure out your own shopping list, and every meal is for two people unless stated.

It took 8 months and then I went into maintain for a couple months and am back on loosing the last 30lbs.

Well I would say to look into keto/ primal eating, this is what I do but it is not for everyone. It is a lifestyle change not a fad diet or diet at all it needs to be done full time and a lifestyle. I eat no grains or very little, very little fruit. It is a high protein, high fat, low carb. Research it and decide for…

Gum!!!!!! I chew it when I have a craving. My fav is the dessert gum by extra I think. Love the mint chocolate chip ice cream. Or I go for cinnamon because after chewing that I don't want to eat anything it tastes gross.

I also use palmers coco butter for stretch marks, it really helps to just take care of the skin. They won't go away(you should see mine YIKES!!!!) but they will look better and fade. I get asked if I have been burned all the time from the stretch marks on my arms, my arms are well defined with muscle now and when people…

I am also IR, I do a primal/ keto way of eating. It works great I think they only problem is people think of this lifestyle as a diet instead and when they go back to eating all the carbs they gain the weight back. The either eat the wrong carbs , too many, or did not transition off well if they chose not to this for a…
