  • I also do early morning workouts, about 5am. I find that I do approx. 50 min of running in one lump. When I do strength training it is first then I do the 30 min. of running. It gets my heart rate up higher and gets the dreaded weights out of the way first.
  • I get my workout done first thing because when I get home from work in the evening I'm the same way, don't want to do anything but relax. It is the only thing that works for me. It is ok to veg out in the evening just as long as you count your calories and don't go overboard.

  • I agree that you should look into intermittent fasting. I had this same problem when I tried to switch to 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.
