Just finished my first half last Sunday in San Francisco. My time was 2:23. I ran every other day (3-5 miles) and cross trained on the off days. Long runs on the week ends increasing each weekend up to 11 miles. I was well prepared and had a very enjoyable experience.

There are tears in my eyes. Thank you for sharing. Yesterday I signed up for the San Francisco 1/2 marathon in July and I am very scared. Reading about what you did gives me courage. I can do this.

I just got a new scale and it is 3 pounds heavier. yuck. One month is not a long time. Go easy and don't give up. Maybe add some exercise to your program. If you are eating only 1200 per day, you will lose weight.

I used ALLi and it seemed to work. I had no side effects. It supposed to work by inhibiting the absorption of fat.
