I just turned 30 in October. I was diagnosed with RA in March of this year. And recently found out I have some osteoarthritis in my feet. I was really upset and frustrated by the news. Last summer i was running, riding horses and generally in good health. I got shingles in November, and had basically been having a flare up…

When I first started, there was no freaking way I could keep up. If I needed to stop, I would just jog in place til I caught up. Don't get discouraged. Just do what you can, but finish the videos. By the end of the week you'll feel good. You'll get addicted.

Me too! I also use it as a moisturizer for my hair and skin. And its great when you have chapped lips. Obvs keep my cooking oil separate from the stuff I use on my body :P I like the way coconut milk tastes in my smoothies. And I like the flavour for cooking with the oil too. I don't always use it. But when I make an Asian…

OMG my face is the first place people notice on me lol. "Have you lost weight? I can really see it in your face." *face palm

I know its been a couple months, and I saw no one answered. But i also used Turbo religiously last summer. I ate a balanced diet of around 1400 cals, and no stupid shakeology crap. I didn't notice massive loss on the scale. But my measurements were amazing. After one month I had lost 4 inches off my waist, and 2.5 inches…

Always looking for friends on here. I was absent for a while due to illness. Lost a few of my fit friends. But I'm starting over with a new plan based on my restrictions. Have about 50lbs to lose. Anyone else dealing with rheumatoid arthritis, or other physical limitations, please add me. Lets compare notes! I only work…

This. It was started by a bunch of guys called 4Chan I believe. They made all the memes. How about we ignore it?!

SW: 206 GW: 190 UGW: 175 I won't be working out as much as I want due to illness. But I'll be making better food choices. And trying to do as much moving as I can. Drinking more water and less coffee. And limiting my sugar intake.
-
They really get me on sugar and protein. I'm def not concerned about too much protein, as I'm doing some lifting and want the boost. But the sugar level on here is almost impossible to stay below. I mean, I love a big bowl of fruit. And that will send you over. So like everyone says, just ignore it.

I downloaded an app that has worked me up to 105 straight (my goal is 250 straight). I hold a 5lb weight in each hand. And vary every 20 the way I use the weight (ie) overhead press, bicep curls etc. You could try something like that if you want to switch it up. I vary the kind of squat I do too. Its really helped shed…

Ya, try eating back half your calories from exercise. You can't survive on that little. Your body will start eating itself. Also, as a side note. Do your measurements. You might not lose any weight for weeks, but you could be losing inches. In your case, I hope its not muscle tissue. You're gonna crash hard.
-
But don't eat back your exercise. If your daily goal is 1230. Then thats all you should eat. No matter how much your exercising. Burn more than you eat. If you eat it all back it kind of defeats the purpose.
-
I know the site gives you more food allowance when you exercise. But the actual daily total should be the same. Like, mine is always 1200. If you look at her diary, the value changes.
-
We have a digital scale and it's great. How come your daily goal changes day to day? I also pre make my meals for the week at home so I'm not tempted to go out out so often. My husband loves ordering in. So I try and keep a few home made "lean cuisines" on hand.

I find the scanning tool on this site really helpful too. I mean, .25 of a bowl of soup? If you put the whole can of say, Campbell's soup in a bowl thats like, 3 tbsp. Get some measuring cups from the dollar store. Thats a big help with rice, pasta, cereals, sauces etc. And learn what an ounce of meat really looks/feels…

I'm gonna go with Beachbody coach and that Shakeology crap. No qualifications needed! LOL I used Turbo Fire (free) from YouTube and ate healthy and lost 15 lbs in 2 months. You don't need a ridiculous goal like 25lbs in 2 months. Just motivation.

I'm knock kneed, so they'll always touch. But it's a little less when I'm around 175. I wear skinny jeans to help combat it too lol Hold everything in a little better.
-
tattoos still look great too lol
-
No offence, but you're using something packed with sugar to get over sugar cravings from junk food? Slim Fast is THE WORST diet drink ever. You're better off eating a Snickers bar.
-
I would like to add, that your body is in a kind of shock. So it holds on to some of the fat, thinking its going to starve. When you go from maybe a moderate amount of heavy activity, your body thinks something is wrong. A diet change will really trigger this too.

^This + I bought some free weights at Walmart for like $4 each. I also got a mini stepper for $100. It comes with a resistance band that I use separately. And some workout videos. But losing weight is 80% food and 20% exercise. So you don't need to work out 5 hours a day. get 30-40 mins a day. And pay attention to what you…

Just ran 3.7km without stops. It's an incredible feeling. For anyone experiencing injury or difficulty, I recommend barefoot shoes. I have plantar fascitis and patellar femoral syndrome and I've also had a couple serious back injuries. They make you run like nature intended. They take the stress off your joints and improve…

Add me up! I started at 220. I'm at 198 now and want to get back to 170. It looks the best on my frame. I log in daily. Don't use the gym or anything either. So if you want "everyday girl" support I'm in!

Stress can also make you late. I've been up to 10 days late because of work stress. Which stressed me out more thinking now am I not only busy...but also pregnant lol. Just relax. If you're really concerned, see a doctor. It could be an underlying problem. It's strange how much your reproductive organs can be affected by…

I sincerely hope you're not offended by what I'm about to say. Some people (alot of people) stress eat. So where you'll stress about getting fat. And are perhaps uncomfortable with food. Other people find comfort in food. They might not think, or care, what it's doing to them because they feel better. Just like for…

Don't know if you like eggs, but I hard boil them 6 at a time for the week. I eat a couple for breakfast with some rye or pumpernickel toast. 2 Big slices of pumpernickel are around 140 cals. And 2 eggs are around 170. Very portable.
-
Ya, 2 lbs a week is the most you should be losing. Anything more and theres something wrong.
-
Ummm, theres moringa oil in my shampoo. Somehow I don't think I want to ingest it too.
-
Go into the exercise heading. Go into Cardiovascular, and you should be able to type in walking and then pick how fast you were going. Or, if you use Runtastic/RunKeeper or another tracking app, you should be able to connect it with MSP. Hope that helps :)

You're worth it...thats all you need to keep telling yourself. The rest is easy!
