I would suggest looking up the group, 'eat more to weigh less." Until I listened to the fabulous people, I played with the same 3 pounds up and down for 6 months. Once you understand the basics of BMR and TDEE, you will do fantastic!! If I can help you any further, send me a message. Good luck!!

If you go to "community," then type, "eat more to weigh less" in the search box it will pop up...the name is written in italic script, so you'll know you have the right group. Once your in there, you will find a thread on any question you could possibly think of!! Feel free to add me for support and motivation!

I used scoobyworkshop.com. Go to calorie calculator, answer the 6 questions, then it will give you BMR, TDEE, and your -15% daily goal. Go in and manually change your NET to this number. I recommend scoobysworkshop.com. I would put moderate as your level, and give yourself a 15% fat loss. After you answer the 6 questions it will give you your BMR, TDEE, and your -15% daily goal. I had 2 gals come ask me earlier for help. First,I suggested our group, and really broke it down via scoobys site. Unfortunately they both decided to stay at 1200 cal per day. A 500 cal jump scared them to death. Lucia and Kiki it broke my heart for them. But I told them that I/we would be here when their ready!!

Personally, I don't think you are eating nearly enough. I'm 5'4, 139 and am eating TDEE -15% at 1769 cal. I do not eat back unless I'm under my BMR.

Welcome to your new journey!! I'd like to suggest the group "eat more to lose weight". Once i listened to these folks, changed my numbers, and started eating the correct calories, I've been losing ever since. They have some really great tools, and answers to questions you haven't even asked yet. Good luck!!

When I finally took the plunge, I stayed in the same plateau for about a week, then the scale started moving. Don't worry, once your body gets used to the extra fuel, it will release the lbs!!

Isn't that first ah ha moment incredible?? I had mine a few weeks ago, after finding this group. Once I found and started eating my TDEE -15%, the scale started moving. AND I feel so much better. I love to eat. But I do no eat back my calories unless I'm under my BMR. .
