I am in the EXACT same boat, I think I just read a synopsis of the last two years of my life story, minus the "great" relationship. I came out of an unsuccessful and unhealthy relationship allowing 30lbs to creep back on after losing 63. I was able to lose significant weight again the summer after, but like yourself, my…

Making good decisions about what you eat is key, I had a similar experience for the first 2 weeks when I did it this summer. Once I cut out processed food and ate more fruits (I'm not a huge fruit eater) I found the weight and inches fell off at an exponential rate. I'm in the process of finishing insanity at my own rate…

I have iron deficiency anemia, I noticed that I was much more tired/unmotivated/lazy than normal and I summed it up to studying too late in university. I also noticed by hair was significantly thinner than it was in highschool, also there's another symptom that I noticed called "pica." Which is the eating of something…

I am on week 4 of insanity and I have been hitting 1900 calories usually, I don't usually care about the number calories but more so the quality of them, and keeping an eye on my macro breakdown. I am super happy with my progress so far, definitely a noticeable fat loss, but only a 4lb dip on the scale. I am also a…

I'm 100% Newfoundlander! Feel free to add me!

I edited my original post, to add some extra background info

YES. It is honestly the worst part of my weight loss... I didn't really have huge ones to begin with, going to be relying on padding to help myself adjust

Well I am very confident in my lower body strength, I can squat and leg press a considerable amount of weight. I love the feeling of hoping on the rack or the leg press after a curl bro and having to throw on some more plates. Although I do have serious man traps and delts... I guess I should also add that I had my…

I don't plan on starting it until I'm done school in the end of April. But I'm currently doing to research on both and trying to decide which one is right for me. I'm looking to get lean, lose body fat, I do already have a fair amount of muscle. I'm just looking for some feedback from people on which they prefer or which…

I'm going to go with my hatred of the stationary bike (my as* wasn't meant for a tiny seat), I also want to die during side planks.

I took a look at your pics and OMG, you look beautiful. I can definitely see a difference. Your shoulders are less pronounced in the pic of you in the black dress. The pic of you in the purple dress...is that a comparison pic of you in the mirror? I can't really tell because the picture is small. I am trying to lose 40 lbs…

I am totally an inverted trianlge... line backer shoulders, hardly any hips, carry a lot of weight in my shoulders and stomach. When i see myself in pictures all I see is my giant shoulders, which I have hardly noticed any change in size even though I've lost like 40+ lbs. Go take a look at my pictures just to see how…

I included it in my Jillian DVD rotation this summer and I also did it last week, I enjoy it but it was definitely longer than I was used to when it came to workout DVDs. Doing level 1 and 2 together is over an hour and a half including the warm up and stretching afterwards plus a bathroom break or water bottle refill,…

@steviechatham I'm going to guess 25

I would love to attempt this challenge, even though it will prove difficult during university/exams! I'm 20, and about 5ft 9, CW 208 GW 185 UGW 175. My intial goal was to lose 15lbs by my birthday (March 24th), but I'm up for a challenge, even if I "fail" it's still a win for me :)

I'm a Jillian Michaels fanatic! 30 day shred really does work, there are all kinds of result posts out there. I lost significant inches with it. Just don't get too discouraged if the scale number doesn't dramatically decrease. I hardly lost any lbs in the first 2 weeks but I felt stronger, looked leaner and noticed…

Well done! Please post insanity result pictures when you finish it :D

Ha... great forum! - People who check out your stats on your machines screen. - People who judge how much I sweat at the gym, those who stare at the sweat pouring off my arms and forehead as I dig deep at the highest incline and highest resistance on the arc trainer and they gallop next to me on the lowest settings like a…

I'm in! Just finished day 1 week 1 of ripped! Feel free to add me!

I'm a Jillian fanatic! I have ripped, 30DS, 6 week 6 pack, extreme shed and shred and killer buns and thighs. I am debating sticking with just ripped in 30 to see how it is supposed to work or do a combo of all of them since I get bored of the same thing easily. Opinions? SW - 252 CW - 198 GW - 175 Waist = 35in Hips = 42in…

I generally do have very strong legs, and my gym is at my university. It does have squat racks but they're usually occupied by insanely jacked guys (not that I'm too intimidated). I'm not very confident in my squat seeing as I haven't really attempted a weighted squat in about 2 years which was prior to my knee surgery. I…

Just thought I'd add an update! I have officially reached one-derland! I also just recently completed a 40 minute run, which is the longest continuous run of my life, even before my knee surgery! Woohoo!

I'm almost 5'10" and I have shoulders meant for a line backer! Check out my in progress success story I posted today for some pictures! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/727467-50lbs-lost-and-never-coming-back-still-in-progress

Feel free to add me! I would love to have some more friends and inspiration on here!

St. John's, NL as well!

Amen, but in the theme of the thread I'm going to say broad/muscluar shoulders. Mmmm... Chris Evans in The Avengers... ladies should take a gander.

Haha I think my friends list just doubled in 10 minutes! The more the merrier!

Anyone/everyone feel free to add me. The more friends I have the bigger the kick in the butt to eat healthier when people can see my diary!

Haha good plan, I just started Jill's 30ds and I used to do at least 45 mins of non stop cardio but now I pair up 30ds and 30 of cardio! I'm seeing results, just not on the scale. I hate to admit that I'm a little obsessed with the scale number but I can't help it! What kind of diet plan are you doing?
