spinning? I hurt my knee playing tennis last year and I started taking spin classes. I explained to the instructor that I have a knee injury so I wouldn't go as intense as the rest of the class and since I can adjust the bike to suit my body/injury it made it a lot better but I still got a great work out! It really…

You could be right on the money there. When I think about protein I do predominantly think about meat and fish. I just usually eat grilled chicken because I can make it in such a big batch and it's so easy! I should probably mix things up a bit...love tofu so should definitely put that into my diet... Thank you again,…

I've done 30DS and RI30 and am currently doing Insanity. I agree with the above, if you've done Insanity, 30DS would be too easy I think. I've done 2 rounds of 30DS and 1 round of RI30 and neither one of them are as hard as Insanity. I'm definitely burning a lot more calories during Insanity workout than any of the JM…

I can't really have a lot of dairy because it makes me sick so I'm alternating one week having some cheese and one week off. I definitely can't have milk...I haven't eaten much fish so I think I will add that to my meal plan next week and more fruit as well. I do eat breakfast and I don't just munch on salad leaves...I…

That's not a bad idea, add some hummus, I do love hummus... So you don't think I should up my calories?

Not so much a whole day but probably less calorie conscious on a few meals on that day. It's usually Sunday and I just don't think about the calories as much but I watch the portion control so not a whole tub of Hagen Daz but probably one very large scoop...haha

I took on the advice from you guys and upped my protein last week and I was definitely fuller throughout the day without sacrificing my calorie count. I was quite happy overall and kept hunger pain at bay. I also lost 2lbs by the end of the week so happy me! If I choose a sedentary lifestyle, it will significantly reduce…

Cannot remember my favorite episode but I love love love lurve Dean...Sam needs a hair cut...but Dean is gorgeous...sigh...might have to watch an episode now...

Thanks for all the tips, guys! I've tweaked my meals for today and taking off some carbs and up the protein by double. I've also changed my last meal to be slightly more than the rest of the day to hold me through the night. I don't actually know what the Fat percentage for me is suppose to be... I think I eat quite clean…

Haha, I didn't even think about carbs...I do love my carbs...but I think I'll try that...

Should I omit some of the fiber and replace it with protein? Don't want to up the calories...

Yes. Sorry, I made a mistake in my post. The 1700 is minus 500 from my TDEE. Sorry about that. Yes, TDEE is 2230 I think...so I'm suppose to consume anywhere between 1700-1800. I'm eating on average around 300 - 400kcal per meal every 2 - 4 hours. But I am so so hungry still. I got my TDEE from choosing Very Active as I'm…

Now just crowded with the 'Resolutionists' (love it, might steal the term...haha) but also with PTs! They're all hovering around asking people, 'have you thought about personal training? Do you want me to show you how that machine works? Let me assist you with opening your wallet and spend hundreds of pounds on me telling…

I think that's what I'm going to do is tweak it. Thanks guys!

I think you're right. I'll give it a try and if I'm feeling tired and groggy it's time to eat more!
-
Thanks Dan. It was actually from this thread I went to FatToFit to calculate my BMR and it was at least 250kcal less than what the Insanity program calculation. I've since lowered the 1900 from Insanity to 1700 but that is choosing Very Active not moderate...

anyone who's strictly doing the Insanity nutrition guide??

Thanks ladies! When my baby was under 6 months old, I was able to work out regularly at home as she took really long naps. I did a round of 30 Day Shred and then a round of Ripped in 30. I started doing C25K then I hurt my back so I took 2 months off to heal. During this time my baby grew and started to nap less and she…

I'm starting Insanity for the first time on Monday. I've checked out the Fit Test and that tired me out just by watching! I'm very excited but very scared, too. I've done JM 30 Day Shred, 30 Day Slimdown and Ripped in 30. I hope I make it through this! Would love all the support I can get!

Okay found it! Is it okay if I start on Monday, Jan 7??

Tried to join the Europe team but it's full now...
-
Good luck to you! I hope we both stick with it and get some great results!

Apart from killer buns and thighs and Supreme 90, I've done the others you've mentioned. I wouldn't say I'm in a great shape but I'm not totally unfit either. I thought about going back to JM but I've done so many of her videos just getting a bit bored...thought maybe this one will get me excited about working out again. I…

I think I am just kind of making excuses...but I have purchased the program and I hope to start when I receive them! Thanks for all the posts, I really appreciate the support!
-
Thanks for this, especially the tips! I've bit the bullet and have just purchased the program. The first post was right, it's not like he's gonna jump out of the tv and smack me if I take a break... Thanks again!
-
Hmm...good point...haha...guess I'm scared of failing...
-
Yup, so worth it, best DVD I've ever used to kickstart my weight loss journey!
-
Amazing!!! Just wow wow wow!!
-
So true. I guess I was hoping for a huge result but I wasn't that dedicated, to be perfectly honest...so I am happy with what I got.

I really enjoyed it but maybe another time. I'm going to do her Six Week Six Pack in conjunction with Couch to 5K for the last 6 - 9 weeks. I think I need to up my cardio... And thank you!
