PB2 is about $5 a jar at Walmart. Not bad really. I love it in my protein shakes. They taste sooo yummy :)

That's awesome! I hope to get my calorie intake higher than 1700 eventually. I seem to keep gaining and losing the same couple of pounds. I'm trying to be patient
-
Even the IPOARM guy says that with strength training weight will increase a bit
-
Amazing! I want to be able to eventfully maintain at a calorie intake like this
-
I measure once a month in several places
-
Thank you :) I used to do intermittent fasting but I'm finding I feel better if I spread my meals out
-
Anyone?
-
I use body fortress from Walmart. It tastes great and I've had success with it. If you are using it for post strength training then I wouldn't go too low on carbs as they are essential in replacing glycogen levels

I've read it can take weeks sometimes months for the body to adjust to eating more. I'm close enough to goal where I'm not too concerned with putting on a few lbs for awhile but I do eventually want it to come off along with the rest of my goal pounds

I am 5'3" currently at 128 lbs I had to up mine cals to start losing again. Currently around 1700 and the weights coming off at a good steady pace. At this size you shouldn't aim for more than .5 a week. 1000 calorie diet will only cause a plateau and then eventually a gain
-
Anyone may add me as well I log daily :)
-
Never really hit a plateau that wasn't by choice but I frequently change my routine. With 8 lbs to go I have set my cals to maintenance and have begun focusing on strength training and toning :)
-
Not much different that 5:2 fasting which is harmless. I say go for it
-
About a year and a half. That also includes the times I fell off the wagon and gained some back and had to lose it again
-
It's harder for a smaller person to lose weight. So those aiming for the lower end of healthy weight range will have a tougher time and it will take longer
-
Up them slowly. About 100 per week. And incorporate those workouts ASAP. I recommend 3 days of strength and 3 days of cardio. Or just 5 days of circuit training :)
-
If you go around 3 weeks with no loss then you may have hit the dreaded plateau or "brick wall" as you call it. However, just a few days of not seeing the scales drop is nothing to be concerned about. In my experience though eating the same amounts of calories, the same foods, and doing the same exercise routines can make…

I have 8 lbs to go and it's definitely hard getting off those last few pounds. I have avoided plateauing by making big changes every couple of weeks. Don't eat the same amounts and kinds of foods every day and don't keep doing the same exercises day after day. Up your cals by a couple hundred and throw in some extra…

ASAP!!!

I had a similar problem too. Mfp sets calories ridiculously low. I had to change my goal to .5 lb a week and eat back every single exercise calorie to get out of a plateau once my weight reached 120's. It takes time but its very worth it :)

Sending friend request. I'm an intermittent faster as well I use the 16/8 ratio (16 hr a day fasting window) I've done the 5:2 ratio but its difficult for me sometimes :)
-
Anyone can add me as well :) I log every day and try to comment as often as I can

5'3" small frame aiming for 120 lbs and am having a heck of a time getting my last 12 lbs off :-/
-
I'm 5'3" aiming for 120 lbs however that last 10-12 lbs doesn't seem to want to leave my body lol
-
How many calories are you eating? I'm a runner as well and I can't say as though I've ever gained weight from running but that doesn't mean it's not possible. Make sure your drinking lots of water to make up for what your sweating off. I would suggest getting a heart rate monitor if you don't have one as my running app…

The most important thing is not to net below your bmr

Fantastic! It's nice when the hard work pays off :)

You will be fine

I was just wondering that myself lol
