Fat isn't a bad thing, LDL is but you need HDLs to maintain a healthy body. If your metabolism slows down, why does intermittent fasting work so well do reduce body fat? You don't need to exercise to lose weight, is helps but you can drop body fat without it.

Really? I think it is you who has the problem so kindly explain why they are the same before I educate you.

A common sense approach that works. Congratulations!

Doesn't mean a calorie is just a calorie and I am well aware of glycosis and lipolysis. With all due respect, it doesn't look as though you are the average person trying to lose weight judging by your muscle mass, as you know the weight training iteself will sort out the weight management aspect. A calorie isn't just a…

Really? So a gram of fat or carbohydrate will help build muscle as does protein and protein will act at the main fuel source for the body as opposed to carbohydrates? Each macronutrient has a purpose and is reflected in the calorie per gram content and the biological role it plays in the body.
-
Yes, it does matter. 1400kcal of junk will get you nowhere. The same as people saying a calorie is just a calorie, they are not. If weight loss is your aim, increase good fats and protein and reduce carbohydrates and you'll lose weight.

Does it really? So, missing one meal kills your bodies metabolic process stone dead? Or is it because the my fitness app says so if you go below your calories? It also says you'll weigh x amount in five weeks, do you believe that as well? The body uses something called ATP (Adenosine triphosphate) for energy. ATP…

Oooh, another article by the fitness industry! Quick take it literally and avoid all kinds of exercise. Everything in moderation. Too much of anything will cause issues eventually.

Which puts you into maintainance not calorie reduction, don't expect anything spectacular when doing this.

Pills are the future, not exercise and healthy eating.

You need to stress the fibres to tear them, you can do that with one rep or twenty. If you exhaust the muscle (train to fail) then the last few as long as you can still keep form before total failure will indeed stress the muscles and promote growth. You also need to ensure you diet is sufficient for muscle building and…

1.5g is suitable for those who resistance train. Excess protein not leading to muscle gains is hardly new.

High fat and low carbohydrates is one of the best ways to lose body fat. Yes, you need healthy fats (HDLs) to lose weight. Excess carbohydrates do more damage than excessive healthy fats but the industry is built on the fact that fats are bad and make you gain weight. If you exercise, limit your carbohydrates to as little…

And for those who cannot?

How can you feel energetic without energy? Which is the problem, a lot of carbohydrates. People eat far too many carbohydrates and the lethargy is a result of a rapid drop in blood sugar once insulin has played its part in transporting the glucose round the body and deposit where needed (one of many functions of insulin).…

And you don't get engery from fats and carbohydrates?

But you don't need to exercise to lose weight.

??????????????????

You don't need to exercise to lose weight.

Most people won't believe this but this is why so many others fail. The key to fat loss is to regulate your hormones and whey you know how, the fat drops off you. That plus the fact that it is so easy and simple but most on here will never try it. Very well done with your efforts so far.

16 hour fast and 8 hours eating is classic lean gains, it works and works well. You may want to look at carb back loading which is as if not more than effective than lean gains. You'll notice the difference after the first ten days.

No problem, shift the carbohydrates to the evening. Where possible eat them as late in the day as you can. Before anyone jumps on this, yes your body does use glycogen when you sleep and needs to be replenished but you body is more than capable of doing this from lipids, or fat reserves. You may feel a little sluggish for…

If that is the case, why does fasting work? Do you know how long it takes for the metabolism to slow down? It takes days of not eating to feel hunger, not just a few hours which is normally thirst not, real hunger. These are myths perpetuated by the internet and the ill educated. What you eat and when you eat it is…

And when you stop taking it? What then?

Creatine is needed by the body and consumed naturally through diet but not enough to cope with strenuous exercise. Creatine is wonderful at holding water in the muscles to make them look bigger, supposed to assist in strength too. However. Red meat is a wonderful, natural source and when you stop taking creatine…

Almost, lactic acid prevents blood flow and hinders recovery that is the soreness you feel.
