Find your nearest 9Round (if there's one nearby). It's mostly body weight exercises, but we do use dumbells, kettle bells & weighted bars also. Today wasn't a great day for me & my average heart rate was 69% for 36 minutes. If I didn't leave my HRM on so long trying to milk more calories out of my workouts, my average HR…

As long as you aren't binge drinking every night, you'll be able to lose weight & drink. I'm down 50 pounds since the end of January & I like my tasty adult beverages.

Who wants to live forever without carbs? Not this guy!

Obviously I'm in the minority, but Pepsi Max is king of the diet pops. Maybe it's the mouth full of sweet teeth I have. And now they have cherry pepsi max, which my daughter loves, but I'll stick with original.

Find a rehab place that does Active Release Therapy (ART). I had 2 cortisone shots & I have orthopedic inserts, but it got so bad that I ended up with hip & back problems from it. The only thing that worked was ART. They basically take a butter knife type instrument & they work on your feet to break up the scar tissue that…

Both. I can't wait to get back to 9Round in the morning. It's fun & it's therapy.

About as much as using a shake weight

Hot sauce, Wasabi, I second the Subway southwestern sauce, Kraft Hawaiian BBQ sauce, most anything that's sweet & spicy, dijon mustard, ketchup. What's weird is that my favorite hot sauce is the little packets from KFC. It's hot, but it has great flavor. Wish I knew what brand it was, the people at KFC must think I need an…

You lost me at girl drink, I hate that misnomer. I don't drink wine, beer or coffee, they all taste like crap to me. But seriously, good for you to take charge of your health & do what's best for you, because if you don't, who will?

The number on the scale isn't the holy grail to base your life on. Are you getting stronger or in better shape? Do you have a better workout than yesterday? Are you sore from yesterday's workout (maybe not the best), do you notice a change in how you look, feel or how your clothes fit? Those are more important than the…

Oh yeah! I go to 9Round. It's a kickboxing exercise workout & I love it. I tend to burn less calories in the morning than I do in the afternoon, but today in 36 minutes, I burned 437 calories. It's not only fun, but it's very therapeutic.

I like to prepare for when I go out for wings or drinks. I'll do a double at 9Rounds to earn the good stuff.

You only burn muscle during cardio if you aren't consuming enough protein.

I love my ab carver pro wheel. It'll get your core toned up for sure. Start out on your knees, but then try it from a standing position.

If it's only about losing weight, calories in must be less than calories out (CICO). You can eat what you want (IE: taco Bell diet, potato diet, etc). If your goal is long term health, then the quality of food matters.

Don't eat yellow snow! The numbers on the scale aren't the end all, be all of fitness. Even if the numbers stay roughly the same, as long as your clothes keep getting looser & you look & feel better, that is what's most important. Keep at it & the numbers will go down. It's a marathon, not a sprint

I cannot recommend 9Round highly enough. It takes about 35 minutes from start to finish & you will work your butt off. There are 9 different stations, Round 1 is always the jump rope & Round 9 is ab work, but it's never the same workout twice. Each round is 3 minutes. The buzzer sounds & you start working. After 2.5…

I got a chest strap HRM with my membership at 9Round & I like it. I go for a run & I know how many calories I burn.

I love my Brooks Glycerin 15. I wear orthopedic inserts & Brooks are wider than Nike & other shoes just don't feel right.

To hit the 50 pound loss number. I'm currently at 47.8 pounds lost. Going to Wrigley field in July & I want to be able to take my shirt off in public without being embarrassed. Getting closer every day

Agreed. The numbers on the scale are nice (when they are going down), but they aren't the end all, be all that some people think they should be. Getting stronger, faster, leaner, having clothes that fit better, or especially when you need new, smaller clothes, those matter more than the numbers on the scale.

I weigh in every morning, as soon as I wake up & after going to the bathroom. If you track your food & exercise religiously, you'll have no problem pinpointing where you went off track in case of a large fluctuation. Don't sweat the small ones (unless they become the norm), because it can be caused by any number of reasons.

Your struggle is why I love 9Round. I get strength training & cardio all in one & it only takes about 35 minutes a workout. Trying to juggle the two can be difficult at times.
-
I spend a lot of time working out in various forms & have for quite a while & I had to google knurling. I've never heard of that before your post. Guess I can go home, since I've learned something new today.

If your trainer looks like he needs a trainer, that's a red flag

Lemon, Sweet & Long Island for me. I'm not picky, I use Crystal light mixes. It's easy & convenient.

I used to need a CPAP machine, but I lost over 50 pounds & never want to see that thing again. I sleep on my stomach, which made it a huge pain in the @ss to sleep with it.

Always track your food! If you don't, you can't see where you went wrong the day before. Also, you can compare numbers for a new food with a previous one. I'm low carb & I log everything I eat.
