No doubt! I love it when people give "what you should do" advice. I have a family & work two jobs, so prioritizing family dinners is a Norman Rockwell thing. A hot rotisserie chicken or two is always yummy & easy, and I like the Birdseye steamfresh vegetables. Pop them in the microwave & in 5-6 minutes, they are ready to…

Always record your food intake. That way, if you have a bad day, you can look back at what you ate & almost always pinpoint where it occurred. The first time I lost weight in 2015, I was coming off shoulder surgery. I lost almost 50 pounds (started out at 247), but I couldn't wait until I could start lifting again. When I…

Both, I can't wait to get back to 9Round. Weekends are long, because they are closed Saturday at noon & all day Sunday.
-
I actually only had 2 peanut butter patties this GSC (girl scout cookie) season, & there were plenty of boxes around the house. I have sacrificed for tasty adult beverages & buffalo wings from the watering hole.

Definitely eat the calories back. It's not worth it if you're hungry all the time.

Up at 4:40: pee, then get on the scale take my pills check FB for about 10-15 minutes pack my lunch (all ready to go in the fridge) check my gym bag for the 5th time since last night to make sure I have my clothes & towels wrap my wrists get to 9Round by 5:30-5:45 go to the gym to stretch & shower get to work by 7:00 then…

Part of it, for me, was relaxing my neck when doing certain exercises. I was doing straight arm DB pullovers & I kept having neck/trap pain every day I did them. Finally I narrowed down the exercise & realized that I was straining my neck, which was causing my issues. I lowered the weight just a little bit & focused on…

I try to watch mine, but I'm always over in sodium & usually protein. My blood pressure & other numbers are really good, so I just try to make sure & drink extra water when I'm over more than usual, like when I have buffalo wings.

Can you rent a locker at your gym? I think it's $10 a month at my gym, but maybe being able to store some of your makeup or hair stuff there so you don't have to transport it every day might be worth the extra cost (plus having to buy extra stuff).

That's funny, I do that too, just to see how much I lose in my sleep, I refer to it as my active rest.

Don't listen to other people. The only person who knows what works for you is you. Log you food/exercise into MFP religiously & that will help you tremendously.

I use Profile by Sanford. It's the protein shakes & bars & eating better & it works for me. The first time I went in there with the mindset that I'm a steak & potatoes guy & this stuff can't possibly keep me full. Much to my surprise, it did. But you have to find the system that works for you. But I definitely agree that…

I was the same way. In 2015 I was up to 247.8. I started doing Profile by Sanford & I got down to 199.1. My biggest problem was that I had shoulder surgery & I couldn't wait to get back to the gym so I could lift weights. I hovered around the 205-210 range. Gradually I didn't put the effort into eating right & on January…

This is why I love 9Rounds. I can burn 450-550 calories easy in 35 minutes or so. Since January 20th, I went from 235 to 198.4 this morning (36.6 pounds). If I'm going out for buffalo wings & some tasty beverages, I can go twice & burn 950 to over 1000 calories & it's fun, therapeutic & addictive.
-
I weigh every morning first thing so it's at a consistent schedule & the scale records in my Profile account

I can't get to 9Round often enough. The last few weeks I've gone 9 times each week. I would go more, but I work 2 jobs & they close at noon on Saturdays & they are closed on Sundays

It's a marathon, not a sprint. I can look back & almost always find a reason I didn't lose weight yesterday. Not enough exercise, had a few bad snacks, whatever the cause. But if I can't have fun & eat what I want from time to time, it really isn't worth it.
-
It's easy for me. I joined 9Round & I can't wait to go back. It's a kickboxing exercise program & it's never the same twice. You work hard for 30-35 minutes & it's a lot of fun.
-
I love 9Rounds & can't rate it high enough. It's a kickboxing exercise program, and in 30-35 minutes, I burn 450-500 calories easily. It's never the same, so your body can't adapt & hit a plateau. And it's very therapeutic when you get to punch & kick the bags.

You know it! The Warrior by Disturbed, great music, even better lyrics. Seek & Destroy, And Justice for All & Master of Puppets- Metallica A Warrior's call - Volbeat The Trooper - Iron Maiden Carry On - Avenged Sevenfold Step Up - Drowning Pool

Mine isn't HIIT, but I swear by 9Rounds (kickboxing workout). It's 30-35 minutes of working your gut off (in my case). Nine stations, 3 minutes @ each (you up the intensity for the last 30 seconds), then 30 seconds of active rest, which is just another exercise thrown in like burpees, ski jumps, jumping jacks etc. Round 1…

I tried the Ghost model & they are good, but you'll have to pry the Brooks Glycerine model from my cold dead feet. I have orthopedic inserts & it's tough to find a good shoe with a neutral instep.

I re-joined Profile by Sanford at the end of January & I joined 9Rounds February 5th. Definitely the best decisions I've made this year. My goals are to get to 185 (Started at 235 on Jan 28th, @ 202.9 today) so I can get a new drivers license picture at this year's renewal. Tired of looking at that fat face.

You have a towel when you shower, you can wrap it around you until you put some clothes on

I'd be an all star for the Cubs, or a superhero.

Warrior by Disturbed. Not only the music, but the lyrics as well & Seek & Destroy by Metallica.

Not just eat less, eat better. Less greasy, fried, sugary foods, more lean protein, fruit & veggies. Find an exercise that you enjoy. I used to do a lot of lifting, but it was easy for me to find an excuse to skip a day here & there. Now that I go to 9Rounds, I love it & I haven't missed a day.
