My gym is less than 10 minutes from work. I don't take a break in the morning, so I get an hour & 15 minutes for lunch. I run three times a week & lift twice over lunch & I shower & go back to work. I can get 40 minutes of working out & not have a problem getting back in time.

If there's a setting for manual, use that instead of quick start. If they're anything like the ones I use at my gym, you'll enter your weight, time, incline & speed. The limit at my gym is 60 minutes.

This made me laugh! For me, the biggest thing that helped me with the pain in my knees & ankles was my form. Don't run with a heel strike, it should be a mid foot strike. Leaning forward slightly helps with the proper form. Not leaning at the waist, but leaning like you're running into a headwind. It took a while before it…

By far, my #1 is Castle (Beckett can interrogate me anytime). I love my Crystal Light on the go packets. Lemon tea, peach tea & raspberry lemonade are my favorites & only 5 calories per bottle of water. I also drink some of the Half & Half (tea & lemonade mix) from Country Time or Arizona Tea.

A rest day is good every once in a while. There have been a couple of times in recent weeks where I'll work really hard at the gym, but nothing will change on the scale, but then I take a day off and I'll drop a pound or two after my day off. You also don't want to get burned out or injured, so that should factor in to your…

GEEK ALERT The GL that came out of the closet is Alan Scott, the golden age GL (his ring was powerless against anything wood). Hal Jordan (the Ryan Reynolds movie version) is not the one in question. It's like on the Big Bang theory where Raj says something about one of them being powerless against the color yellow & one's…

Without a doubt its Warrior by Disturbed. The lyrics alone make it easy to crank it up another couple of levels during a workout.

Mine comes from the famous philosopher MC Hammer "Either work hard or you might as well quit." Also, the song Warrior by Disturbed is the one song I have to work harder to when I work out, just from the lyrics alone I am now an instrument of violence I am a vessel of invincibility I cannot leave this undecided Stepping…

You're still trying escape on a technicality, and it's so sad. You're even including the word theft in the definition of lost, yet you can't even admit that the Kindle was stolen. It's very simple, did someone remove the Kindle from where it was without her permission? (HINT: the answer is YES) That would mean that the…

Seriously? Holier than thou much? She has owned up to the fact that she is partially at fault, so she has accepted some responsibility & she isn't hiding behind anything. The only one on the moral high ground is you, wanting to excuse the thief for his actions & lay the blame completely at the feet of katatak1, which is…

Again, incorrect. There's no question that it was stolen. She knew right where she left it, so by the very definition of the words, it was stolen. The best you can try is that she lost it due to it being stolen. There isn't always more than one action to a theft. Shoplifting, for example, unless you think all stores are…

steal [steel] Show IPA ,verb, stole, sto·len, steal·ing, noun verb (used with object) 1. to take (the property of another or others) without permission or right, especially secretly or by force: A pickpocket stole his watch. You really need to give up while you're behind.
-
Somebody needs to bookmark dictionary.com. She didn't lose it, she knew right where it was, until it was STOLEN. So if you put your car keys down, turn around & I take the keys & take your car, I guess you lost your car, & I didn't steal your car. No wait, that would still be grand theft auto. It wasn't her fault. Was she…

Unfair to blame a thief? Yes, let's not blame the loser who took something that didn't belong to them, let's blame the person who had it stolen. That makes perfect sense! </SARCASM>

Maybe you're more than willing to play the victim, but not everybody is. People deal with things differently, so the only thing "insane" is you telling someone else how the should feel or react. There's plenty that can be done about it, if you don't just roll over & give up.
-
I guess I'm just not a "turn the other cheek" kind of guy. If it's a restricted access to the gym, it couldn't be just anyone walking in off the street to steal it. If you have friends you can trust in the complex, put the word out & have them keep an eye out for someone with a Kindle that didn't have one before. Check out…
