http://allrecipes.com/search/default.aspx?qt=k&rt=r&origin=Recipe&wt=cookies&pqt=k&ms=0&fo=0 Edited to say: I love allrecipes.com At the bottom of the recipes is a calorie fat and cholesterol count so you know before you even try to make whatever it is you want. You can also adjust the serving sizes so you don't end up…

I agree that water is a great appetite suppressant. I eat about every couple of hours, small things like fruits and veggies for snacks or cheeses and yogurts(sometimes I indulge in crackers and candies - still working on will power) and my meals have more protein to keep me full but everything in between is water.

I am a stay at home mom with a husband that works 8 hours a day. When he comes home he wants to play Xbox360 and relax. Often times he would "fail to hear" when I needed help with our 1 year old son and I didn't get any time to myself up until I decided that I NEEDED time and called my parents. I spent a week with my son…

To change it to maintain: My Home, Goals, Change Goals (near the bottom center, green button), Select one of the two options (I go with what they suggest but that's just me), then there will be a drop down menu to select weight loss, gain, or maintain; make your selection then accept changes. Hope it helps :)

Well I don't have many suggestions but here they are: Don't mention your weight loss to anyone, when it happens it happens and if people say something about it tell them the truth about why you are losing it. Don't spend your time worrying about what others are going to think of you in the future ( I am really bad at this…

Once you hit your goal weight and if you would like to maintain you can change your profile to maintain. If you do this you can also adjust how much exercise you do and it will give you what you should be eating. The above poster has a good point if you don't want to stay on the site you can just go by the way she…

I count everything. Fresh fruit and veg pack a calorie punch depending on what you eat.

Good job :)

I obsess about my meals all the time. I annoy my husband because I have to know right now if I'm over or not. I started to plan my meals ahead of time and track them that way. If I know in advance what the calories are then I have a tendency to relax a little. If I change something in my meal I will change my food in my…

Fruits are great healthy foods that add up on the calories, stuff like bananas are high in calories. Yogurts and peanut butter also good things to try.

salads - fruit or otherwise. Get some protein into your salads with hard boiled eggs and/or grilled chicken breast. Wonderful thing to vary too. Add things like corn or chili to make a southwestern, or rasberries and pecans for a sweeter one. chicken wraps- easy to pack easy to make, wonderful with wheat tortilla shells or…

Not a doctor at all so just my opinion: Try to do things that won't put your body pressure on it like swimming. Try to do exercises that focus on upper body like boxing (30 day shred is where I got that from nothing else), or things that you can do without putting much pressure on it like situps. If it really hurts then…

Stay confident, when they ask for flaws think of it as a challenge to make yourself better (example: I'm a perfectionist; I have had someone tell me I'm too nice to dislike; I am frustrated when I can't do above and beyond, stuff like that), make eye contact, and do your best to be polite and smile. Good luck with the…

I exercise when I'm sick, usually call it if I have to run to the bathroom more than once every 20 minutes for anything. If you want to exercise and feel up to it exercise, if you feel that your body is too sick or tired to do it don't push it. The best thing you can do is to let your body tell you what it needs.

I would keep them and use them as motivation but not buy any more till I know I can get into the one bought. The pictures of the progress is a great way to stay on track.

That is amazing. Congrats on the weight loss. You can see a definite change in your face

I would like to make a suggestion of doing research, finding out which ones you are interested in as if they are true or not, then talk to a doctor to get an expert opinion (even though those will be differing if you talk to more than one). Time, research and studies, and the media make it hard to figure out a lot of facts…

Sounds like you hit a plateau. Change up your exercise and diet, search through the forums on plateau topics and you'll find lots of ideas.

From doing a quick look at your food diary I'm with neoterrar, you don't seem to be eating enough.

Mcdonalds - Southwestern Grilled Chicken Salad (No Dressing), 335 g (1 reg salad) 290 calories tends to be a favorite when I have to go out. I try to stick with salads with no dressing or grilled chicken when I have to have fast food. Though I do like yogurt parfaits which aren't that bad. I love Subway for fast food too,…

Well I am inspired by my dad who even with COPD has lost 40 lbs on this site and 60 lbs total in less then a year. I am motivated to prove someone wrong when he told me that he felt that in my heart I was a quitter. And if I had to choose someone that I wanted to look like as inspiration I suppose I would choose Drew…

I don't really know anything about sugar being evil. I know that anything that's not eaten in moderation can be bad for you. I would think that natural occurring sugars such as the ones in fruits and veggies would be good for you. It's the processing of the foods that would do the body more harm then good. The artificial…
