  • Several people in my family are that way. They have to wait a while, or at the most drink just little sips at first.
  • Wow, your face really looks different. You look younger!
  • I didn't see the link the first time. I think your thighs look smaller, and I can tell a difference in your face also. Great job so far! You can do it! :)
  • I can't see them...
  • I will say that my weight loss pattern is up and down all the time, but if I look at the overall pattern long term, I can see the loss. Also hormonal/cycle things can mess up weight loss. Sometimes you'll lose a bunch of weight in one part of the month and gain some in another part. Argh.
  • Tummy and belly are bad. Agreed. What are you, five years old?
  • My kind of humor. Just classic.
  • Sadly, this thread is making me laugh...I need to stop reading it or I'll have a problem right now!!
  • Sadly, I too have to cross my legs when I sneeze. The kegels are said to help but I haven't tried it yet. Kid number three pushed me over the edge, I think.
  • I hear you. We are on a budget and can't get a different one either. Maybe a yard sale.
  • I would highly recommend getting a jogging stroller for this. They have three wheels and you can lock the front one to keep it from swivelling. If you jog with a regular stroller and one of the front wheels swivels just a bit you can dump the baby out and have a horrible wreck. Someone in our house almost did this once,…
  • This is so true. Solitude is all I require. Even if the water is cold, I'm good as long as there's a lock on the door.
  • As I said when I saw an alarmist-like article about red meat and bacon this week, I guess I have about twenty years left. Twenty glorious, bacon-filled years. That's my response and I'm sticking to it. :)
  • I walk behind a stroller too. I think maybe it's possible that when we walk, we unintentionally lean just a bit on the stroller, causing it to carry a bit of our weight on the wheels. Unless, of course, we're pushing uphill which is definitely more of a workout than just walking! Shouldn't it average out at least...?
  • ...of all the fruit snacks and Sour Patch Kids I can eat in one sitting.
  • The hardest part for me is that I tend to have an "activist" type of personality and I want to right wrongs, and defeat injustice. :D My husband, however, is much more able to let things roll off his back and not bother him nearly as much. He doesn't always feel the need to defend himself and so my tendency is to fill the…
  • That is completely true! And although Tony hurts me, I will say that I don't really mind his annoying videos. And my husband likes them.
  • We're in week 5, I think. Every time I see a new (longer) run on the next day's schedule, I am certain that I can't do it. And so far I've been able to do them all. It's surprising how quickly you improve, I think. Good job!
  • Yup. And you won't like it. :( My husband coached high school sports for over 15 years and the number one best thing I ever did for him was to keep my mouth shut. About everything. It is unfair, it's no fun, and there are people who are so rabid about their children's sports that they'll say or do anything, but that's the…
  • Tony hurts me.
  • I agree with those who said to be really careful about being too critical. Instead of telling her she is getting heavy, focus on her age right now, because she's at the age where most of us girls had to start being more careful about what we ate. So you could say something like, "You haven't had to worry about this in the…
  • You'll be fine. Maybe it made you gain a little, but not that much. It will level out again.
  • It could be. For some people a calorie is a calorie, but for others they really have to watch those things. I personally don't, but then again I'm plateauing right now so maybe I shouldn't say anything! :) If you still want to open your diary so people can see it you can click the Settings tab on the homepage and then find…
  • Haha, everyone has the same idea. Take that test, girl!
  • Sounds to me like that 2nd baby might already be on the way. The first trimester of all my pregnancies I could hardly stay awake at all, ever. It was epic. Could that be possible?
  • Well...have you been logging what you eat in your food diary? If so, how many calories a day are you eating compared to your goal? And if you're logging and you're staying around your calorie goal, the first thing I'd do is make really sure that you are logging accurately. Make sure you're measuring your helpings so you…
  • I don't think you look underweight. I see a few curves. (I'm a girl so I'm not being weird.) You look pretty.
  • These are all so great. I'm laughing already this morning looking through them!! I don't think I've ever heard the "that's what she said" so maybe I'll have to check it out. Most of these lines are only annoying because we hear them so many times after weeks of doing the DVDs I'm sure. Another favorite moment of mine in…
  • Yes, it WILL get easier. When you get discouraged, just tell yourself "I'll just do it for one more day" or one more meal, or one more sidewalk square if you're running/walking. Just make it through the next thing, and don't worry about things farther into the future than that!
  • I'm on 1210 right now...pretty close to my goal weight so not a lot of wiggle room. AND the last few pounds aren't really budging. We'll see what another week will do!
