I do both. I lift weights and do HIIT as well as walk with my friend 3 times a week. I do yoga on my two rest days.

Most people who have WLS do have to speak to a counselor but unfortunately there is no standard in the WLS world either, some people come out of WLS and aren't even given a meal plan, which is bizarre.

I love boxing, that's how I really got into fitness, I went to a boxing gym, and I did boxing, kickboxing and bootcamp classes, I used to go to two classes a night I loved it so much, I was the happiest I ever have been going to that gym. All the frustrations of the day taken out on the punching bag.

I tend to shoot for a weekly goal more so, I don't worry on the daily, some days I feel ravenous and want to eat a lot other days not so much so I feel like it all evens out at the end of the week. I never worry about a couple hundred calories.

Unfortunately any hormonal bc can cause weight gain, I have had issues with pcos for years, and I actually think the hormonal bcp I was put on only worsen my condition, I actually went on the copper IUD (paragard) due to this because I just didn't want any synthetic hormones being put in me.

I have been consistently low, had to have a couple rounds of prescription and now I take it regularly. I will get my blood work done again next month to see if it's maintained.

I use a Polar HRM only to just get an idea of what I may have burned and it is a weird accountability thing for me. I don't eat back exercise calories.

I've done it a couple times, I do the IbreatheImhungry websites version, that way it's not just eggs straight for 5 days, there is some variety, it works pretty good and gets you into ketosis fast.
