I took a quick peek at your diary. The couple of days I looked at it looks like you are at 1300 calories or fewer. That may be low for you. Have you calculated your TDEE? You can just Google TDEE calculator. Take your TDEE minus 20 percent and that's a pretty good goal for your calories. I'm guessing you are a little low.…

I know it is SO tempting to jump on what looks like the quick-fix bandwagon. I hope your friends do well and are able to maintain their weight loss when they are done. As others have already said, it's not about just "losing the weight." It's really about finding what is going to work for you for the rest of your life.…

Congratulations!! Love to see success stories from those who have conquered a medical obstacle like yours. You're truly inspiring the rest of us to let go of our excuses. Your pictures are great, too. You look YEARS younger!! Keep up the hard work and keep up with those babies of yours. God bless!!

Way to go!!!

Congratulations! You look amazing!! So good to hear you did it without any crazy dieting or starving yourself. Thanks for sharing this!

As other posters have said, talk to your neighbors about it. Sometimes a simple conversation can alleviate a whole lot of misunderstanding and unnecessary drama. You may also want to take a look at your lease. These days many of them contain language that spells out what is and is not acceptable behavior, noise levels, etc.

What a wonderful story! Thank you for sharing it and inspiring the rest of us. I LOVE these kinds of successes - no craziness, no starvation, no over-the-top workouts. Congratulations!!!

Wow!!! You look fantastic! Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

You are GORGEOUS girl!!! Congratulations on your hard work. You look younger and the light in your eyes in the second photograph says it all.

Flat. Out. Amazing.

Thinking outside the box here - if you want a tough upper body workout, go to a medical supply store and rent a wheelchair. Wheel yourself as long as you can, as hard as you can, and then up the time a little each time. I guarantee it will get your heart pumping and work your upper body.

Amazing transformation! Congratulations and thank you for sharing this. You really are inspiring!

1. How do you handle back handed compliments? Do your best to let them roll off. Either they genuinely mean well, and they deserve a break for trying to be kind, or they are being passive aggressive, and they don't deserve your time. 2. For the bustier women do you feel like regardless of what work out you're doing your…

From a weight-loss standpoint, it really is calories in, calories out. From a health standpoint, too much of just about anything is not good. Too much fat, too much protein, too much fiber, too much water, too many carbs can all affect your body in a negative way. Nutrient-dense foods also tend to be lower in calories,…

No. No. And no. There are no quick fixes, Felicia. Focus on making small changes, slowly, over time. Make changes that are sustainable for the rest of your life. It IS hard and it DOES take time. You can do it. Be patient with yourself. Be kind to yourself. Don't give up.

Fantastic! I agree with the other posters - you look younger now. Keep up the hard work!!

Your diary is closed so I can't see what your calorie intake is. Are you weighing and measuring your food and not just eyeballing? Are you logging everything you consume? What is your calorie intake? Are you doing any cardio or resistance / weight training? Did you set your intake based on TDEE minus 10 or 20 percent? I'm…

Good luck with the program. You'll do fantastic!! I've been doing StrongLifts for a few months and really like it. I spend far less time in the gym, but I've gotten great - and visible - results. As far as "unsolicited advice" - unless you have specifically asked for help or advice, I would ignore most of what anyone says.…

That's great!! Sometimes those subtle changes are the things that REALLY inspire you to keep going. Keep up the great work. One day soon those pants and that skirt will be sliding down - for a very different reason.

Fantastic transformation!! Thank you for sharing. It's funny that we hate seeing these pictures of ourselves, but others (me) find them INCREDIBLY inspiring. For the record, you are beautiful in ALL of the pictures. You are definitely happier (and healthier) in the "afters." And you are a hot mama!!!

When you look back on your life, it won't be the things you did that you regret, it will be the things you didn't do.

You look amazing! Congratulations on your success and keep up the great work!

I drink a half gallon a day. I find that, when I stick to it, I feel "better" over all. Specifically, I feel more energetic, I have better workouts, I sleep better, and my stomach is flatter. There is absolutely nothing scientific to back this up. It is just my experience. I think, like just about anything, "your results…

^^This. Every time you look at your screen name, it's going to reinforce that. We're not criticizing you for choosing it, just pointing out that you have to speak kindly to yourself if you want those negative voices to get quieter. And this. It took me a long time to find what was right for me, and I know other people have…

Cetaphil gentle cleanser at night with the Olay exfoliating brush. Neutragena alcohol free toner. Cerave PM moisturizer in the morning under makeup. Tinted sunblock, eye shadow, eye liner, and mascara. I often get mistaken for being 10-15 years younger than I am. Not bragging, truly, it's just good genes, and I had nothing…
