Use keywords "pizza 12." It'll bring up all the 12" pizza options.

I have my diary closed because I don't use MFP as a "diet plan." I use it as a food diary only. I also enjoy the tracking tools and reports. I do a lot of different weight loss techniques. Every now and then my calories will be low (on purpose). I've heard of people receiving private messages from strangers who are…

I'm curious. Why does height matter...in weight loss?
-
No weight problems until late 30s.

In the database, it's "Pork-Ham Hock."

In theory, yes. Energy in and energy out.

Keep hiking. Realistically, when the calorie burn gets higher than 300-500, it's very difficult to eat back every last calorie. Eat your base line calories and then try to eat back as much of the exercise calories as you can. Don't worry about getting them all in calorie for calorie.

If you're at your goal weight and have been exercising for a while, your body has gotten efficient at exercise. Your heart has gotten stronger. You will have to change the intensity of your workouts to get a higher calorie burn. Sweating is only an indicator of your body getting hot. It's not an indicator of exertion. You…

How does the body know you are weight training as opposed to lifting a heavy baby or moving boxes? What is it about weight training that triggers the burning of glucose?
-
Doesn't matter.

It's not a diet. It's a fast. Usually, there is more at stake than just weight loss. There is something to be said to eliminating all solid food and additives from the body for a period of time.

You only have 6 pounds to lose? Assuming you don't have a lot of body fat, it sounds like you are just building up your natural muscles. That doesn't mean you are "bulking up." It means you are just optimizing your natural musculature.

Jillian Michaels doesn't have any moves. All of the moves in her videos are generally standard across hardcore fitness circles. I've seen the same moves in Insanity, P90X, Cathe Friedrich, on YouTube gym videos, etc.

No one can tell you that since ever body is different. I'm 5' 3" and to be a size 10, I can be around 165 lbs because of my body composition. For you, it could be higher or lower.

HI. It all depends on what you like to eat. You can eat the same foods. Just watch your portion sizes and watch your calories.
-
So you're just trying to get people to visit your blog?

You'll be fine. It's just one day. It's life. I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

Anytime someone goes on a "diet" they end up losing some muscle. It's not permanent. You can rebuild the muscle.

Why is Chinese chicken and broccoli "bad?" It's protein and veggies. You can feel bad if you want to but you didn't do anything wrong.
-
No offense, but you don't need pills to lose 7 pounds. There's no such thing as a muscle toning pill.

Dude, take it down a notch. I'm just saying a woman who wants to get down to 150 lbs from being 400 lbs. In order for that to happen, the scale has to go down. Can you deny that? We haven't even mentioned height or body composition. True that someone can be 200 lbs and healthy. However, for a short woman, that is pushing…

Simple example are the folks on The Biggest Loser. They start off not being able to run at all and at the end they can run miles and even marathons. In order for that to be possible, their bodies (and heart) have gotten stronger and learned to adapt to the running.
-
Running is super intense. You're new at running. It will improve.
-
The only person who can answer that is you. Is it humanely possible? Yes. Can you do it? That's up to you to decide.
-
Why increase your portions? Who says you have to eat a full serving size? That doesn't makes sense. Eat as much or as little as you want.
-
Weight is not meaningless. If someone is 400 lbs and needs to get to a healthy 150 lbs, then the scale has to move. The scale is just another measuring tool and benchmark. We shouldn't discard it because someone's feeling are hurt by a number on a screen.

Really obese people will lose more per week in the early stages. It's perfectly normal and healthy. Eventually, it will taper down to 1-2 lbs per week.

All food are diet foods. Make meals out of the things you like.
