Looked at Christmas pictures of myself, and shortness of breath tieing shoelaces. Turned 60. Wanted to be back where I was weightwise 25 years ago, and gain back at least SOME of the energy. 90 days of "boot camp" and monitoring calories has me down under 200, 15 pounds shy of my ultimate goal. Want that BMI under 25.

My trainer and I both have digital scales. the doctor has the old sliding bar. I go with the accuracy of the digital.

There are a lot of good golf teachers/coaches who can't play a lick.

If I only eat about 1200, working out 3-4 times a week, I get nowhere. Need to eat those workout calories back, at least.

i log my food AND excercise. I wasn't losing any weight until I started logging food. Makes me more accountable to myself.

Hi. I started here in early March. Started "boot camp" at work about the same time. We work out 30 minutes per day, three days a week. In addition, MFP has helped me to track m calories, ALL of my calories. By doing the two of them, I AM aking progress. Others are correct. Only I can motivate ME. Hang in there, and do…
