Everyone has the ability to say "no." So do you. So, next time you feel like a second helping, or whatever the hell it is you're…

  • Try cold green tea with a little lemon juice. I find that crystal light is way too sweet.
  • You can't spot reduce. Your body will take fat from wherever it needs to. I squat once a week (195 5x5) and found that I lost body fat in my legs before anythin else.

  • Going below parallel on my squats (yes free weight barbell). Have a difficult time going ATG, working on it slowly. And yes I know I can't add weight, but the other day I just knew I could do more. I'll be cutting for a while. When I start eating at maintenance, I'll do a 5x5 routine and my lifts will soar.
  • I haven't had this happen to me yet, but I prefer socks to chalk. But I do love chalking up nonetheless. Unnecessary amounts of chalk.
  • I find that they sacrifice form and quality for quantity and speed. One way ticket to Snap City.
  • My weight on the bar has plateaued, although i have recently PR'd on my deadlift while fasting. So, i've been doing 185 for reps on squat and deadlift since the fasting started, 95 on bench. Up to 195 for my deadlift though. The IF has definitely helped in burning body fat/bringing my BMI down. It may not be showing on the…
