That's great. Maintaining your loss is a huge success story

I don't eat back all my exercise calories, but there are days, sometimes weeks where I'm more hungry. If I'm truly hungry. Not eating because of emotions or boredom. Truly physically hungry, my body is telling me something, so I eat! Make a good choice and move on.

I'm cleaning out my closet! This is huge for me because I often feel like I'm one binge away from gaining all 65 pounds back and I would need these clothes. So this is a step forward for me. I know what I need to do to keep the weight off and more importantly I'm starting to believe it!

I understand. I found myself in the line at a fast food drive through today. I was wanting that supersize meal like to old days when I drowned my stress in food. I was next to order when I realized what I was doing and why I was. I drove away! It was a sweet victory! Now what I was stressed about is still there. I came…

Don't let an article and picture derail you. You have to do this for you. Even if I lose all the weight I want, I will never be a model. That was not what I was meant to do. This mental shift in my weight loss journey is huge. I'm doing this for me! To feel good about me! You need this for you. To feel better about you.

I have these black stretch pants that I work out in. They fell down while I was working out! Thankfully I was at home. Time for new workout gear!

It's just a tool! Don't give it so much power! When I first got mine it was a real eye opener on how inactive I was. So don't go for 10000 a day. Change your goal to 5000. Try and get 10000 on a day off. Gradually increase. Good luck.

I started losing weight in June 2015. I was 240 pounds and having a lot of pain. I stuck with diet and exercise, but the pain especially in my hands have not stopped. Motrin no longer worked. I was referred to a rheumatologist and diagnosed at the end of January with rheumatoid arthritis. I have been on prednisone and I'm…

If the scale did not move as fast as I would like, it was enough for me to quit and say it's not worth it. I hate the scale!! This time I don't give it that much power. I now exercise, stay in my calorie budget and trust the process. I feel so much better with just the exercise and eating better that I really concentrate…

I've been an RN for 25 years. I have worked 23 years in labor and delivery. I'm married with two boys in college. I have been on MFP logging everyday since June 16, 2015. I have lost 58 pounds. I have 12 pounds to get to my goal. It took me 20 years to figure out how to care for myself. I take care of my kids, husband and…
