Me too. I'm disappointed :grumble:

I second the You Are Your Own Gym suggestion this is all you have access too. for New Rules you will need at least dumbbells, a bar, and some weights. You might be ale to find them on Craigslist relatively cheap. But YAYOG is also a great place to start as well.

That book is a great place to start. When I started lifting again, it's what I used. I also lift at home and it was easy to adapt to that (lots of exercise substitutions listed in the book) The water retention will go away. If you're already doing some sort of exercise it may not even be an issue for you. I lost the…

Thank you for sharing your experience :flowerforyou: Hopefully this post will spare someone else what you had to go through.

3 pages, and still no one?

Dunkin, just because I don't like Starbucks coffee. I'm cheap though. I brew coffee at home, and take it to work with me.

Just came in to say :drinker: to a reasonable goal. I was set to 1 lb a week until I got closer to goal, then I switched to .5 lb per week. It took me a little over a year to lose 50 lbs. That might seem like a long time, but really it's a drop in the bucket. It gave me the time to really learn new habits.

"Ask yourself whether the dream of heaven and greatness should be waiting for us in our graves - or whether it should be ours here and now and on this earth." from Atlas Shrugged I like your #5 too

I only get nervous when it's about to die and my Son's not with me. My Husband works out of town mon-fri, so I'm the only contact for his daycare. If we're all home I couldn't care less.

Me too!!!!! :drinker:

That's really creepy.

I have that problem too. Being short with wide hips sucks :grumble: I really should have learned to sew as a kid. Finding pants that fit but aren't a mile too long is damn near impossible.

This is awesome!! :drinker:

Winter is the only time I like having long hair. I debate shaving my head every summer.

I would go back to being 18 and knock some sense into myself. So far this past year has been the best year of my life though.

I looked into a lift, but I don't want the scars. I've always been large chested. It's also the first place I gain/lose weight, but I never get below a D cup. After having my son they don't snap back the way they used to.
